I went to high school with Richard Filbin and knew him well. I now live in Clearwater Florida and a friend of mine sent me this article. It is indeed hard for me to imagine that Richard could have allegedly commit such a crime.

This is very disturbing to me as I have known the family since I was very little. My parents & his were good friends. I was around him several times as a child and he was probably in his teens and I have to say, even then, he always made me uncomfortable They say children see the 'real' you. The family has my deepest condolences & I'm glad his mother isn't around to see it. Very sad.
