I have been a fan of Mr. Seger's for quite some time. He should be ashamed of himself for what he is charging for concert tickets. I am a social worker and wanted to take my wife to his concert but now cannot afford it. i didnt think he was that greedy a person.

get your facts straight hes not charging that his ticket cost were $56 ticket master and all the other online companies were charging the hundreds so if you would have went to the ticket master you could have got them for a good price i paid $56 just like everyone else and got 16 row but you dont deserve to go any way since you dont get your facts straight.

Hello Rob and Steve, Rob is right about using ticketmaster the right way. I even researched how to make sure I got in right away after they opened the lines at 10AM. My husband was on 10 minutes early and had an account set up with TM. Then you just keep refreshing the screen. Other than ticket master, you are dealing with scalpers who have crews buy as many as they can and then resell them on the net for 10 times the amount. I thought the $56. was more than fair. Seger could have insisted on more I am sure. It surprised me that all the seats were the same price. It is very unusual for a big name star to allow that. But you have to know the Seger background. The guy is darn humble. He writes lyrics that are meaningful to the everyday person and performs with all his heart to that type of crowd. He is just great and totally unassuming. He does not even allow an official fan club. Really, it is ridiculous to think he would have a hand in what the scalpers charge. Somebody does not know how to use the on line system that is all. Better luck next time. I got my two tickets and I can hardly wait.

Rob,
You are only 17? Wow. Believe it or not, I am a very young 63, my brother-in-law is 50 and also a fan. I meet teens, people in 20's and 30's all the time who just love the sound. If you have any of the albums, open up the flyers and read the lyrics. I have always maintained that the guy is one of most unacclaimed poets this country has. His songs not only sound great....they all mean something. If you have any music background at all, you appreciate his perfectionist styling all the more. He is truly an artist.

Well then dont go and see him. Look at what the Eagles charged for thier concert almost $200.00 for a ticket. I think that $58.00 a ticket is really cheap by todays standards. What should he not charge you anything thing because you cant afford to go? By the way do you really think that he himself gets all that money from every ticket? Look at who he has to pay, people who set up the stage, other band members, etc.

I have 2 tickets that cost a total of 140 dollars. I do not think that they are that great of seats but I can not wait to go. We saw Bob Seger in 1996 in cincy and that is where we are going again. My hubby and I have been listening since I was in the 6th grade and he was in the 7th. We have now been married 26 years and the music does not get any better than Bob Seger.

We really can not afford to go either but too bad the bills can wait.:)
I have had cancer twice and a stroke and I am only 43. Life is too short and this way of having a great time.

I've been a huge Seger fan since the late 1970s. When I got my first car, "Night Moves" was the first eight track i bought and I listened to it constantly. "Sunspot Baby" is one of my favorites. I never attended a concert though and I've always dreamed of seeing Bob Seger live. Thanks, Bob. I'll see you in Cincinnati!

I've been a Seger fan since I was 7. I'm alot older now and like Rob in MI said, I to have brain washed my kids. They know every Seger song ever written. Indianapolis ticket prices were $60 dollars. No big deal is my point of view. If I had to pay double even triple that I would have. 15 minutes the Indianapolis show sold out. People that I work with have offered me $500 for my two tickets. NOT A CHANCE! I've taken that night as a vacation night and I'm going to enjoy this concert. I am sure that this will be one of the greatest nights ever. Hurry up Nov 18th!

I think $58.00 is a good price nowadays for a concert ticket and look who your getting for that price!
He is a GOD of good old Rock & ROLL. I just wish he was coming to Birmingham Alabama so I could pay that to see him.

Seger is going to be in Atlanta Dec. 7. Tickets go on sale Oct. 28 and 10:00 (9:00 am in Ala.) I love Bob Seger and have since the early 70's. I saw him when he was in Atlanta a few years ago and can't wait to go again. No matter where the seats are, it will be fantastic!!!!!! If I don't get tickets, I'll will Have! to buy them somewhere and pay more for them. Can't miss this show!

Hey... If anyone needs tickets to the Cincinnati show, I have quite a few. There was a whole group of us going and now the plans have changed. The seats are all over the place (some on the floor, some to the side and some in the upper deck - center stage aisle).

I am not charging a lot of money, I am just trying to get money back so we can buy more to a different show. Email me at: [email protected]

When they first anounced ticket prices for the first shows that went on sale, I thought, this has to be wrong.....after paying last year 161.00 per ticket to see U2 in Atlanta...the 63.00 price at Philips was like hitting the lottery!
I have a son who lives in Leeds Ala. and I was going to get him to get my tickets for me to Atlanta. He was at the local publix before 9am, I just knew I was going to get the best seats possible....Even though it was 9 in Leeds when they went on sale in atlanta....ticketmaster does not open untill ten...which would have been 11 in atlanta... didn't work...But I still got great seats. I also have 3 tickets available in the 311 section that I am willing to sell below face value.. just to get rid of them.
If anyone is interested email me at [email protected]

I am going to get to see Bob in person next week Nov 18 in Indy. Haven't seen him since 1969 when his van broke down at New Buffalo, MI going from Detroit to Chicago. Fan belt broke, so while I did my mechcanic duties, Bob and his band members play frisbe in the parking lot. Had a hard time paying attention to what I was doing. No tip either, but that was OK.

I too have tickets to the Indy show! It is taking forever for Nov 18th to get here! Have been a fan all my life, never seen him live! This is my dream to see Bob Seger and the band live! Never thought I would see him! With todays ticket prices, 60.00 is not bad! He may never tour this way again! Would have paid hundreds to see him. Thank You to Bob Seger and the band for making my dream come true!
