It seems to me the season for the 'Colonial' has a scaled down schedule, with no real headliners. It looks like there going to try an get the people in there for a cheaper product and make a windfall by not having to pay upscale performers, this tells me Flemming has no confidence in the patrons commitment for quality talent, these 'acts' are not what the public wants 'Robben Ford', please, all I have to say is start the campaign for donations to save the 'Colonial', or better yet, lets raid the good old GE fund.

And everyone wonders why Pittsfield remains a dying town. Another season where better shows will go to Proctors.

The Mount, Spice, this new Cinema, the Colonial are all politically correct, economically stupid money pits.

Man Eric you got that one right!

Although I do like the Colonial, I just don't get why they are not going to put out some bigger money for better acts and shows.

No actually I read all the posts and Eric makes a much broader point, better.

Although I agree with slowdown, Eric's point is more succinct and to the point across the board.

I have questioned Mr. Fledgling$ and Co. on there mistrust of the public knowledge of what is a good venue for performer$ at the $barn, since the $barn opened, the acts have been mainly local or feel gooders, like J Taylor Liv Tayor Ozzy Taylor, the Taylor trio, and your tailor, now that this $barn has what it wants, a new Theatre, its time to give the people what they need, quality entertainment. One thing is missing here, an act thats quality, with an affortable price, this place is a bust, just like Spice,The Mount, and the proposed new cinema.

It closed during the Depression for a reason. The again in the early fifties. You'd think they'd have figured out its not an economically viable proposition. There I go, being negative again.
