On a recent interview on CMT, you stated that you loved performing at Festivals. GSA represents all
the shrimpers along the Georgia Coast from St Marys to Savannah. We are located in Darien, Georgia and for the past 40 years, our community
has the Blessing of the Fleet, in March or April.
This is to Bless our Boats and Fishermen for the
upcoming season.....And in September, on Beautiful Jekyll Island Georgia, we sponsor a Shrimp and Grits Festival. GSA markets and promotes our Wild Georgia Shrimp in an effort to save our industry and to educate the consumers and let them know that they don't have to eat pond raised foreign imported shrimp....Coming from the Savannah area, I am sure you know how delicious local seafood can be! NO, we are not asking for a benefit concert, which that would be nice, but if you are ever in the area, we would love to have you come by or maybe support the Wild Georgia Shrimp program by coming by and assisting in the judging of our Shrimp and Grits competitions (Great Food)......
