One thing Ruben didn't mention is, Obama and the Dems are the only game in town a this point in time. Unless some RINO's come out of the closet and want to pander to la raza and their supporters. they have no place else to turn. Also as a note, I read that good old Juan McCain is going to be a speaker at the NCR. I wonder what that's all about? As if we don't know. How did he get re-elected??

Its time some politicians come right out and tell navarrette and gutierezz and the other morons to shut up. Just tell them to shut up already AND STOP PUTTING RACE AND FOREIGNERS before AMERICA AND AMERICANS.
.
In my opionion this is clearly racism, to increase their numbers and clout. I also feel it is TIME TO CALL THEM OUT ON THE CARPET ON IT.

Great comments from readers after the article. Based on those comments (not one supported illegal immigration). If I were Obama, and running for reelection, I wouldn't support illegal immigration either.

I totally disagree with the fact he's speaking to LaRaza, thy are one of the most racist organizations of our time.

I think obama is treading a very fine line, and is not dumb enough to cross it. Give illegals some lip service, propose something you know will fail just to appease*spell check* the hispanics.

Just like the Republicans with abortion. As long as there are millions of people who only vote based on one issue it is foolish for the parties to actually solve the issue.

It's 19% where I live and there's rumors some areas of the country it's as high as 45%.

Obama's sorry record to Legal Tax paying Citizens: Ordering the release of Millions of Illegals in jails throughout every state to save money. / Obama Care AKA: FREE Healthcare for all Illegals. / Ordering ICE to go to Louisiana to make sure Illegals are allowed to rebuild the state. / Illegals allowed to help clean up Oil Spill disaster and once again take away jobs from Legal Citizens. / Ordering backdoor release of millions at all ICE holding cells throughout every state. / Sueing Arizona for SB1070. / Allowing tens states to implement The Dream Act which gives Illegals FREE College education. / Hope And Change turned out to really be: Transfer Of Wealth. Let's Fire Obama in 2012

Illegal aliens:

Losing at the polls; marches and demonstrations garner no sympathy from the common man; civil unrest has only galvanized the opposition; 'outing' your 'shining stars' has only made things worse; reduced to whining in Op/Ed columns.

Pack your bags. Soon comes acceptance and departure. We're done with you, already.

I didn't find this article anything but factual. Hispanics need to be aware of the lies of Obama and know that his true intention is to be re-elected. Obama wants to be considered the savior for all but he really is a wolf in sheep clothing. I truly hope that everyone making comments will actively register people to vote in 2012. Obama has been and will continue to be a failure to all legal Americans. The black community went in unison to vote for him in 2008 and will probably do it again in 2012. He tells the black community that he's one of them and the evil "white republican" wants to keep them in their place. As a black woman, Obama has been a true disgrace to blacks as well as other ethnic groups. I truly will do my part to continue to enlighten blacks and others to his record on all issues facing all Americans. So please never lose site of getting rid of him in 2012. He is a failure to all Americans. He never intended to unite the people but to divide and conquer them. Obama is just as selfish and self centered as the illegal alien.

As the budget debate goes on, Obama is scheduled to speak again at, guess where, the National Council of La Raza on Monday. If you read the white house talking points, you find that within a few hours, those from the "council" say the exact same thing.

This guy has to earn a living....

Hispanics don't get it, particularly illegal aliens! They are being used by everybody, including mehico. What they don't realize is that they would get some respect if they would turn southward and DEMAND their rights from their corrupt governments. Let's face it, as long as they tuck tail and run, then things will remain the same...mexicans, use 'em!

Agreed! Dems are the only game in town for hispanics.

Now, the BIG joke for all of our pimping and pandering to hispanics leaders is that, TRADITIONALLY, HISPANICS, PARTICULARLY MEXICANS DON'T VOTE!!!!! I can't wait to see the egg on the faces of all of the politicians who have sold their souls to mexicans and find out there is nothing there! There wasn't anything there in the first place, as I understand it, they are only 6% of the voters (remember there are a LOT of illegals)when they do vote. This will be the political joke of the century! I am laughing already!

Yes, the comments are interesting, because they are coming from Ventura County, just outside of LA. Really surprised! I guess they are sick and tired and waking up too! Hope it isn't too late!

Not to worry, Sistah Girl, I got your back! I am making blacks aware that to vote for dems lockstep is to be taken for granted, no respect...they no longer take us seriously, and the dems just assume that they always have us in their back pockets...to our detriment! With 40% unemployment among black youth and the president is saying he is heartbroken because he can't send illegal alien children to college is a shining example of who he is!!! Obama, like the others, takes us for granted. Please note during the last mid term election, he started showing up on black radio stations talking his, "...in this together bs."

I admit that I voted for him (Sarah Palin?!!). I won't anymore! I don't think that race should come into play, however, I am now amused at the fact that people consider Obama a black man! He isn't in the American sense, he has no black American roots! His father was a Kenyan, not black American, and he was reared by his white grandparents in Hawaii. What about this makes him from the American black culture...nothing! I agree with Cronell West (para), Obama is merely a black puppet for the big businesses and corporations.

He is/was merely a deception to get liberal and black votes. Unfortunately, this is major race card playing...

40% for black youth unemployment! Yet, he's heartbroken because we can't seem to pass the dream act (3rd time failure) that would allow illegal alien children (age 35) to attend college and get green cards. What about our children who grew up in foster homes and are dumped when they age out at 18, what about our children who's parents are incarcerated.....

. Very happy to see some blacks can see thru this current pres marxist agenda. I actually have black men who make deliveries to my workplace who complain about latinos taking over the basketball courts and the city streets. Taking their jobs as well. If every who is unhappy with Obama votes in 2012, we will make sure he does not get another term. Let's spread the word to everyone, DO THE RIGHT THING IN 2012!

As a black woman, I didn't vote for Obama and I won't in 2012. I never trusted him. There are several hispanics in my neighborhood who are vehemently against illegal immigration. They say the illegals are ruining the educational system and lowering legal hispanic wages. So Obama doesn't have the lock he wants in my "hood" of whites, blacks, and hispanics.

I'm glad you finally see that Obama is only out for himself. I guess that's why he identifies with illegals-they are both selfish, self centered-that want the laws to change for them. I'm proud to say I didn't vote for brother man in 2008 and I won't in 2012.

I also know a few hispanics who are against illegal immigration, the only problem is that they seem to be vastly outnumbered by those who do support it. Its really shows the failing in this political system when this same issue keeps coming back time and time again when in the past, time and time again, we have told them what to do with their ideas...
