Not one word was discussed about SB6. This bill proposed LOWER TAXES for in-state businesses and REMOVAL of the loopholes for out of state company tax breaks. If Texas can get the big box companies to pay state taxes, why can't NM? This bill would have broadened the tax base by removing the loopholes and lowered the tax rate for local businesses.
It was proposed by Senator Wirth. When I asked about Senator Wirth on radio 770AM, all they could talk about was some bill about dogs in outdoor restaurants. They knew nothing about SB6 and made a derogatory comment about Senator Wirth by adding "less" at the end of his name. Here we are in a financial crisis and our legislators and governor could not find a way to increase revenues. All they could do was cut take home pay of all the education employees by increasing their contribution to retirement. Did not seem to matter that this group has been taking cuts for three years. I wish they would all stop the political games and do something constructive.

Here we are in a financial crisis CAUSED by Santa Fe politicians spending money they didn't have, and you want to RAISE taxes to give them MORE monmey to spend? Are you crazy???? The way to stimulate the economy and get more companies and JOBS to move into NM is to LOWER corporate taxes. And also get rid of the BS programs that are wasting money all over the place. Giving more tax money to Santa Fe will just mean they will SPEND it on BS we DON'T need.

The education employees haven't been doing squat at educating NM kids. We rank 49th in the country. They don't deserve the monety they are getting now.

You dont seem to realize that my "true identity" was printed on the header of my Topix account for two months?
You are just getting around to figuring out that I have been posting as Sol Rebl for six months now? Hell, Desert Rat thought he was "outing me" on the third post as Sol Rebl! He was too stupid to read the line at the top that said "FORMERLY BEDROCK BOB" too! And then Kornback Rattler realized it and decided to "Tell the world". And of course there were all thos eposts discussing the fat that I had got a TOpix acount.
And now Deputo41 finally figure it out 6 months later, seemingly by a personal revelation?!?!? Pure genius Deputo!
Now that you realize that I am posting as both Bedrock ob and Sol Rebl what will you do with that earth shaking information? Alert the media? Call the authorities?
You tickle me! You are so dull you are funny! If it hadnt taken you six months to figure it out and you hadnt have been so proud of your self for realizing the incredibly obvious it would not have been half as humorous!
So now you know what everyone else has realized all along what exactly are you going to do with your "secret information?"
