Which Flip-Flop?
"Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said "immigrant families as well as every other family" must be valued. ---------- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said yesterday as president she would push an immigration bill with a path to legalization that unites families. "We've got to deal with immigration to be sure that we're going to get back to doing what is right and smart in America," she told members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. "Yes, we need to strengthen borders, everyone agrees with that," the New York Democrat said. "We have to, though, remain faithful to our condition as a beacon for people around the world seeking a better life." Three other Democratic presidential hopefuls attended the forum: Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware, Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich of Ohio and former Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska. They were given 15 minutes to address six questions. Mrs. Clinton, who gave a version of her stump speech touching on the themes of the questions instead of answering them directly, spent 63 seconds on immigration. Mrs. Clinton was interrupted by applause during this line: "I believe we have to, as part of comprehensive immigration reform, create a path to earned legalization and I will continue to stand for that and advocate for that." She touted her efforts to make sure families weren't disrupted by the Senate's immigration bill. "Everybody talks about family values ... let's start valuing families and that means immigrant families as well as every other family," she said. Mrs. Clinton did not commit to passing immigration reform in her first term, a priority for the group, which works to educate new Hispanic leaders. She also did not directly answer all of the questions posed at the start of the forum, including how she would address anti-immigrant sentiment. She did say she would "cut the Latino dropout rate in half," spend $10 billion on universal pre-kindergarten and pass the Dream Act to give legal status to illegal aliens who go to college or join the military." |

1 politicians are not, I repeat NOT suppose to be dictators. if the people vote into law to not allow illegal immigration, the politicians are suppose to represent and enforce this law. so, where is the fence? we already approved it. |

1 You can read about the case from the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles own site. The Civil CASE Number is: BC304174. http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/civilCaseSumma... |
Isn't this the case the judge ordered Hillary doesn't have to appear for testimony until after the November 2008 election? |

1 What's the difference? It seems as if they expect everyone to be law abiding...except illegals. It's a double standard and they're talking out of both sides of their mouths. Hillary Clinton is catering and pandering her ass off right now to get elected. She's doing the same thing Jorge Bush did...making promises she will not be able to keep. The American people stopped two amnesty proposals and the Dream Act in the past two years...and we will do it again. Illegals loved Bush...they thought he was their friend indeed. Now they all take crap about him because he didn't come through for them and grant them amnesty. They'll be talking crap about the next President too...just wait. The President can't just grant amnesty. It just goes to show illegals don't understand our politics. |

Well, we have three Presidential candidates ready to hand over everything to Calderon. Our only hope is to give Congress to Republicans who will likely be more sympathetic to protecting our country.

1 And I hope the Republicians will crack the whip on Juan McSain. The BS comments he makes about "they are God's children and they need protection from the law"...is down right scary. |

Comment: McCain Argued for Amnesty in 2003 Congressional Statement HEARING OF THE SENATE COMMERCE, SCIENCE AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, Federal News Service Transcrip ^| April 9, 2003 Wednesday | SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN (R-AZ) Posted on 01/06/2008 12:49:59 PM CST by Wallaby Secretary Ridge, I'd just like to mention one aspect of your responsibilities this morning. And, as you know, it's not often that I discuss issues that relate to my home state. But I did have the privilege of accompanying Deputy Undersecretary Asa Hutchinson and other outstanding public servants to the Arizona-Mexico border a few weeks ago with other members of the delegation, including Senator Kyl and House members. And I invite you to come when things calm down a bit, because I think it's important for you to be able to see long, long distances of border which are unsecured between our two countries.... And I know you'll agree with me that one of our first responsibilities is to secure our borders. And may I just add an additional comment? If it were just securing our borders, then I think your task would be easy. But like the case with drugs, we are creating a demand. There are jobs that Americans won't do, so Mexican citizens will try to come across -- and Central Americans and others -- will try to come across our borders so they can be able to feed themselves and their families, which argues for amnesty programs, guest worker programs, et cetera. And I think that that has to be a priority of the Congress and the administration, because I don't believe, as we have proven in the war on drugs, that we are ever going to keep people from crossing our borders, as long as there is an incentive for them to come across. But I don't have to tell you, Mr. Secretary, the potential this has for the ability of people with evil intentions to come into the United States of America and do bad things. |

The problem with Billary is she knows she'll never live next door to these law breaking illegals. And they're not stupid enough to bother her. I suggest we tear down the fence around the Whitehouse, if any of the 3 leading candidates takes office. They all belive we don't need a fence on our border, then they don't need a fence securing them. Billary will say anything on any given day when she knows how her response will be take and by whom. Legals and Illgals. I'm not certain if she's sold her soul yet, but if she hasn't she will. Bobblehead best describes Billary. The only group she's interested in are OTA other than Americans!

Anyone looked at the Judge? Only in America. |

All 3 candidates are TERRIBLE in regard to the illegals!!!
We are going to have to be ready to fight any/all efforts of them trying to pass some form of amnesty and vote in some VERY strong anti-illegal candidates into congress!!! If we can get enough strong anti-illegal candidates in congress, they will be able to stop any/all efforts toward amnesty. Pay attention to who is running in your areas, so that we can stop this. "MOST" of the time, it is the Republicans who are running the strong, anti-illegal campaigns. However, the WORST candidate in regard to illegals is Obama!!! He has already promised them amnesty, drivers' licenses, jobs, and everthing else that they want/need. |

McCain was just on the news again this morning. He thought he tap danced around the immigrations I'd guess. What he did was intead spell out his plans "if he's elected." He'll immediately go for the comprehensive B.S. again.(After all he received 70% of the Hispanic vote in AZ.) Too bad he only has AZ to bank on! |

I'll still go with McCain over Clinton or Obama this time. I'm from Illinois so I am well aware of Obama's support of illegal aliens. Clinton has a poor record on it also. McCain isn't great, but given that Congress will probably be a Democrat majority, he will be easier to contain then Obama or Clinton would be.
Then I do not trust either Clinton or Obama after seeing them in action. If Clinton had her act straight on illegal immigration I would at least consider her since I usually vote Democrat. Not this time.

Where's the video of Billary speaking to LaRaza last year also? Anyone find it strange that LaRaza's been awfully quiet? Only means they're up to something again! |
