really? I figured you was one of those racist-republicans. You know the kind that didn't become such a hard core democrat-hater until obama was elected.

Tickets are $250. Just one more thing our tax money is used for that the majority of us can't afford to enjoy.

Who in the hell will pay 250.00 to see this show? I guess they charged the high price to keep us poor people out.

I think Cosby doesn't support obama either. Most folks that work hard and become successful dont support obama the big spender.

I'd pay $2.50 much less $250.00 to see an African, don't care who they are.

I'd pay that to see Cosby but my car runs on gas and the family needs food. Around here lots of people would pay more than 250 to meet one of the Orange County choppers or Alligator hunters. Depends on what you like and if you got the money. And "African" means the person was born there but Cosby is from USA.

It's comical to hear sw va people support Obama. He cares little about areas that produce fossil fuel/coal and would rather pay out unemployment/welfare checks than produce good jobs that pay taxes. The US can fix its problems but we need someone that has a clue about the real world...Obama is just as bad as Bush, but gives great speeches.

Anybody can give great speeches and that's how they get voted in. Guys running for office have huge incomes, big money from their sponsors, or old money they've inherited, so how can they understand the real world or problems of the "common" people? Who needs a good guy in office when we can go to the Barter, pay $250, and hear comedian Cosby because a good laugh cures everything that ails you. I'm not laughing.

so long as tyhey have to tie their recognition to the term AFRICAN-AMERICAN. You can't be both, so if you are black, born here, or became a US Citizen legally then you are an AMERICAN.....NOT A DAMN AFRICAN-AMERICAN. If you can't identify yourself an an AMERICAN plain and simple then to Hell with you.

No Way called Cosby an African but thar's wrong since it's a term for people born in Africa; it doesn't fit Cosby because he was born here in the U. S. like me and probably you. I agree that we should call people born in the U.S. just good old U.S. citizens . It especially seems silly to use the term African American for someone who has never set foot in Africa (in my opinion). But going by the dictionary American can be describing amyone who lives in North America or South America. So Canadians are also Americans!
