Bill Cosby Tells Black People Off Again

Bill Cosby Tells Black People Off Again

There are 110 comments on the www.womanist-musings.com story from Jul 7, 2010, titled Bill Cosby Tells Black People Off Again. In it, www.womanist-musings.com reports that:

Do you remember the good ole days when Bill Cosby was too busy selling Jello Pudding Pops to open his mouth about race, drugs and poverty? Just because he was America's favorite dad during the eighties, does not mean that we have forgotten that he was too busy "being human" to get involved in the civil rights movement of the 60's. When comedians like Dick Greggory were giving it all for the cause and risking their careers, Cosby took the safe route. In fact, safe is about all he has ever been good at, and now he has the nerve to repeatedly stand on a podium and lecture people.

Typical Negro EXCUSE MAKER!

Being poor doesn't mean that you can't study hard, clean up the area where you live, act decent around people, and dress like you have some damned sense!

No 'hood types want to hear Bill Cosby's Uncle Tom nonsense about how to become a successful person, educated, disciplined, well respected. No one wants to hear that shyte, it's more fun to do drivebys, sell crack, spit out babies for welfare, cry about how unfair the world is, how much America is to blame for all the problems.

Tell Uncle Tom Bill to shove it!!!

I know as Black People we get tired of being judged. I think some Black People are worried more about the White Man's opinion than a resolution. These young brothas......are pulling the trigger. If the guns and the drugs are put in the black communities from the white man. Then why take the bait? They have a choice. And these young brothas.....or making the wrong choice.

A young brotha came home from college and decided to go hang out and play basketball. Got into an altercation. The young brotha who was in the argument went somewhere came back and shot the college boy in his head. Senseless! And for what???? Now his life is over for making the wrong choice.

Bill Cosby is just out of place in a dysfunctional world thats all. The white people and the Hispanics act every bit as bad if not worse than some blacks act. The society as a whole is in the sh&tter.

The Cosby show went off the air on the second day of the Los Angeles Riots.

In an attempt to end hostilities, Bill Cosby spoke on the NBC affiliate television station KNBC and asked people to stop what they were doing and instead watch the final episode of The Cosby Show.WIKI

Bill Cosby didn't belong in the world of Snoop Dogg and Gangsta Rap. The Cosby Show all the sudden one day looked VERY outdated. Remember that?
You can watch old episodes of it but today it does seem VERY outdated. The odd part is episodes of Good Times and Sanford and Son dont. WHY?

Well, I don't like the fact that Cosby say back and didn't participate in the efforts of the Civil Rights movement, but six years when he went on his tirade about the current state of the black community, he was scorned by the black community. Why are we getting so defensive about the negativity he's witnessed and gotten fed up with over the years? It's like we'd rather sit back and let the black community destroy itself, rather than admit that we have problems and try to fix them.

The article was making that same excuse about who'se bringing the guns in black communities.I agree with you 100%.People have choices, and no one is making these animals pull the trigger.I can understand bill cosby's frustration.

Because he's a hypocrite. A cracker practically blew his son's brains out but he has no animosity towards whites. Everybody wants to blame the youth for all the violence while disregarding the circumstances that lead to it. A lot of these young g's come from broken homes no positive male role models or raised by their grandparents. I see brothas that make an effort to find work putting in applications everywhere only to eventually give up & do dirt. I'm not trying to make excuses just showingreality

A lot of people want to blame these young cats for joining gangs. What about the generation that preceded me? You had black power & you dropped the ball. We could build corporations to employ our own people, instead we have to settle for begging crackers for jobs. These young g's have an entrepreneur-type mentality even though they are going about making money the wrong way. Until you can provide these cats an alternative dont tell me that they are wrong.

I certainly, understand the frustration. Because i'm frustrated as well. I had a wonderful and fun life as a child. Some of these kids are out of control. And their parents are doing nothing.........they are lost! No mentors, no father fiqures for some of them. Mother lacks involvement, or peer pressure........it goes on and on..........the gun is a terrible thing it and drug ruines lives and communities. If it was a plan to eradicate the black male and his community. They are succeeding for most of them.

But they are wrong! And there's no excuse! Nor should you pacify them or make excuses for them. When the Crips were formed.......it was to protect the community. Not ruin or destroy it! Now gangs are ruining their communities and solving nothing in the process. People are scared to come outside of their homes. Kids can't play on the playgrounds......Black People are scare of their own. If they see a brotha with a black shirt and pants. They will be scare schittless because they have no idea what and who he is......that's not how black men and women should live being afraid to live in their communities. But no one wants to speak up.

I understand your frustration.........but it's getting out of hand. Lives are being lost for senseless bullschitt! And most of these young brothas are spending their lives in jail. Making 15 cents an hour. What for car tags! Do you want that for them?

And the generation that preceded them Fcked Up! And if they was'nt going to be schitt! Most of them did'nt want to see you become something that you and your parents would be proud of........

This is not all black men! But it's for the young black men who are lost and need to find their way. And if i can help them i will. And so should you!

So if i have to beg a white man for a job to eat because i was not ambitious to set up goals for myself and can sleep at night ........not having to look over my shoulders. I will do it! I'll mop the floors at Mcdonald's for an honest paycheck. And not killing a black man over bullschitt. And i'm a woman.

Yeah, I know about how his son was gunned down by some Russian mafia members and I almost forgot about that. You're right that we need to focus on the actual causes that explains the high teen violence and crime rights rather than blame the children who are the penultimate cause but not the actual ones. The cause is hip hop culture, and the lack of enabled, desired, and acknowledged positive black male role models that black women refuse to mold black men into.

Nerdtician you're my boy but sorry you're full of shit. Now we can't blame the culprits,we can't blame the savage animals that kill each other. What do you mean they're not the actual ones?Do you think these animals comitting crime and killing each other are some damn robots that don't have choices in the decisions they make?look,i blame the individual for his choice and actions despite who is bringing guns and drugs to the black community. To be candid,i feel no sympathy whatsoever for these animals when then end up behind bars for life or the electric hair.In my opinion we need to take a page out of the arab's book and start beheading these animals on national tv.
