The so-called "revival" referred to above was a passing fad, as was Norm Hathaway's band (a Johnny-come-lately attempt at yet another Tommy-Dorsey-ish tribute orhcestra in a region already crammed with them). After about a year and a half of appearances at small, local-yokel non-profits (church dances, school elementary concerts, etc.) the ensemble fall apart.
