Some of the cable shows are real entertaining, but movies can be a real waste of time and money.

What's the last movie you saw that really moved you?

Television today is a boring (sit through) of weak mental stimulation.

Movies are just too expensive these days, but TV is full of craziness. It's a catch 22 between the two of them in my opinion.

Lately I find myself going to the movies more for the popcorn and soda, as a way to chill out...only hoping the movie will be good.

All I basically see on television is bikini's, and subjects pointing to homosexuality.

I feel the same way. Television is mostly garbage these days. For god's sake, the history channel is filled up with reality shows. You are better off learning about history from the movies than the history channel these days.
I too go to the movies to relax, though I won't buy their food because it is usually much more expensive than what I can get elsewhere.

I agree and don't even get me started on the badass kids that people bring to adult movies.

Its a toss up between the two. Overall TV really sucks ass.

Weather Channel & CNN are on heavy rotation. My only shows are TMZ, History Channel, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones & Falling Skies. In theaters, everything is a remake. Every once in awhile something will get my attention. Me & Mr 910 saw The Conjuring. Good movie.

No I gotta go back and read that article. What do they mean by "Mexicanization"? LOL!

I think Steven Spielberg mentioned something about this, the coming crash of Hollywood movies.

He too, called this out.

I say that the best movies are the dramatic filled ones from lifetime and then scifi has some good stuff too.
