I enjoy learning about our African roots as well as other cultures. However, I am very tired of reading articles in the News Times that did not have the benefit of a proof reader. I am positive that Professor Burt Peretti never said, "That tradition seemed to dies away." or, "It's an impossible rich topic."

Ain't no piano in no "African" music dearies!
At least not in any "African Roots" music.
That's just the school librarian "route" to "African" music.
