That is not a judge -- rather, that is a puppet of the music industry (the only industry that does not yet give truth-in-advertising). [in Stuart, FL]

???

May be, but, I think it's a fitting punishment. Making the rapper listen to classical would be as awful to him as listening to his crap was to everyone else.

And who knows, maybe he's actually like it. Doubtful, but stranger things have happened.

I would have paid $500.00 just not to have to listen to rap.

Just wait until they start mixing Country and Rap, or they will have Country Rap, or Crap for short.

Which reminds me of the joke about back-masking and Country music. They used to have backwards messages hidden in some Rock songs, and people would try to play their records and tapes in reverse. Well, what do you get when you play Country in reverse? You get your kids back, your wife back, your job back, and you quit drinking.

I agree wholeheartedly that it was an appropriate punishment. My father is into classical music, and every time we're in the car, we have to listen to NPR. The ironic thing is that when mom and I want to listen the music *we* want, he complains.

I think that he was too racist to listen to any music that he didn't consider "black".

sad..that this guy did'nt have any intelligent people around to give him some direction..he could have made a better statement on music and race in general..too accept all types of music instead of being a wimp(after all he's young). He should have turned this into a challenge..not to his music..but to how open his mind could be. But im not him or in his shoes.
