Republicans will not take part in a death Panel. Plus there is a good chance no one will need a panel, because it will be repealed. It is going before the Supreme Court again.

There's no such thing as a "death panel." Repubbies invented this bogus concept to attack Obamacare, remember?

You can't even keep track of your own lies! LOL

Oh, and "it will be repealed" and "it is going before the Supreme Court" are also lies, or at least absurdities.:)

It won't be called death panel, but that is what it is. They are not Doctors, but will decide whether the eldely get future care, or will be allowed to die. You can call them something pretty, but they are a death panel, and everyone knows it except you.

We don't need or want cons. The last 2 Presidential elections proved it. Funny to watch them hold their breath and stomp their hooves. Very entertaining.

What is it called when some bean counter at some health
insurance company decides that a policy holder can't have
a certain procedure that might save that person's life
because it's not included in the policy and the patient
dies?
That's not a one-person death panel?

Sounds like a Life Panel to me. Everyone dies---unless you believe in Vampires...but even they can be killed. Sounds to me like they decide if you get the care you need to live. Hence "Life Panel".

Private Insurance companies used to be able to decide who was going to get treated and who would not.
They had set limits on what they would pay for a treatment.
They narrowed down your treatment options by refusing to cover some treatments....
They used to be able to deny your pre-existing conditions
They no longer can ...
These are very popular portions of Obamacare

The panel is designed to restrain costs.....suddenly you don't like restraining the costs of a Gov't program...I'll be damned.

When a procedure isn't covered by an insurance policy, perhaps the buyer of that insurance should have spent more money on a better policy.

That's not a death panel. That's called not being fully insured.

The problem with some of these insurance companies is that they question a health test and five phone calls later they say "ooops, yes that is covered under your $2,500+ per month health "care".

It is enough to make the healthiest person ill!
