A person interested in buying a piece of property believes a certain structure to be on that property and asks the people next door a question about it and your answer is "shoot them"?
I wouldn't care if her grandkids wanted to play out there since planting season is almost here.. Its solid concrete but don't want a lawsuit down the road.. I walked the old lady out there and shown her a message the child left for his day that built it.. It was "I love you dad".. I lent out my arm to help the ole lady up the hill.. I hope she buys it for her daughter.. BTW she is black and Tony was a PR..

Race and ethnicity are irrelevant so I'm not even sure why you brought it up, but I am glad to hear that you treated the person with more civility that positronium would have.

His post, suggesting that you should have shot them for asking you a question about the property was just a bit much.

I'm not sure posit is altogether stable.

My children were NOT going to grow up in Los Angeles. No way in hell this was going to happen! Why?
Well, it all comes down to the nature of what Los Angeles had become at the end of the 20th century. Just since I moved there, L.A. has been vastly transformed by two powerful influences: a protracted and bitter economic recession, and the scourge of crack cocaine. The situation was such that the vast majority of uneducated (or semi-educated) Angelenos had little to offer a potential employer and work had almost disappeared to the extent that large areas of the city were virtual economic wastelands of Third World dimensions. Moreover, crack cocaine had contributed to the explosion of violent street gangs until they were THE power in many areas. The streets of Los Angeles reverberated with the powerful influence of a pervasive culture of violence: there were an estimated 100,000 hardcore gangmembers in L.A. County, and in the year I decided to leave (1995) LA tallied up a record 1,785 homicides - 807 of them gang-related. In the decade I lived in Los Angeles, more than 18,000 human beings died prematurely at the hand of another - violence being the leading cause of death in the city for people under 35.

People murdered for their shoes. People murdered for $5 and some spare change. People murdered for drugs. People murdered for absolutely no reason at all. I lived and worked amidst all this until the magnitude of the tragedy threatened to break my heart - until the stink of the violence began to choke me.

Attack on family in Compton latest incident in wave of anti-black violence

A Latino gang is intimidating blacks into leaving the city that was once an African American enclave. It's part of a violent trend seen in other parts of the L.A. area.

Michelle Obama comes on strong, but what's next?

Then her drop-in at the Oscars ceremony on Feb. 24, when she announced the best-picture winner live from the White House, seemed at first to be promising for some critics: It made her vulnerable to claims that she is overexposed, Lippert says.

"It makes both the president and the first lady seem small and grasping," huffed The Washington Post's conservative columnist Jennifer Rubin. "In this case, it was just downright weird."

But not entirely unprecedented. President Reagan, a former movie star, once taped an appearance for the Oscars; former first lady Laura Bush once appeared on tape discussing movies at the Oscars; and President Franklin Roosevelt once spoke by radio at the Oscars. But never mind, even a few liberal pundits were miffed.

Coloradoís 63 county coroners are mostly elected and arenít required to have a medical degree. They operate under laws written in the days when Western coroners did little more than collect bodies after frontier shootouts.

Judge rejects Colorado theater shooting suspect's motions on insanity plea

Holmes' lawyers asked the judge to declare Colorado's insanity law unconstitutional and in violation of his Fifth Amendment protection from self-incrimination, arguing that it was unclear when a defendant may waive his right to remain silent and whether he must reveal confidential medical information.

Two police reports written the night that George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin said that Zimmerman had a bloody face and nose, according to police reports made public today.

The reports also note that two witness accounts appear to back up Zimmerman's version of what happened when they describe a man on his back with another person wearing a hoodie straddling him and throwing punches.

It has been such a contentious case that even the evidence is being disputed.

The police report states that Trayvon Martin's father told an investigator after listening to 911 tapes that captured a man's voice frantically callling for help that it was not his son calling for help.

The documents state that **Zimmerman can be heard yelling for help 14 times on a 911 call recorded during the fight.

Looks like Quirky's not the only grown azz man obsessed with barbie dolls.....

'Barbie Man': Florida Man Owns More Than 2,000 Dolls

For one man, Barbie isn't just a childhood staple, but a way of life.

Since 1997, Stanley "The Barbie Man" has collected anything and everything related to the iconic doll and has amassed a staggering collection of more than 2,000 Barbies.

The pink and plastic collection is worth, in his estimation, approximately $80,000.

His Florida home is his showcase with his collection covering the walls from the floor to the ceiling.

But his collecting doesn't stop with Barbie, he's also purchased plenty of accessories, including a Barbie plane, pink corvette, and anything else the pint size doll could want.

"Anything that I find at a garage sale that has the B-a-r-b-i-e on it, I'm buying it," Stanley said.

His most expensive Barbie named 'the Pink Splendor' cost him $975, although he knows a good deal when he sees one. He bought a vintage Barbie for only $4 at a garage sale.

"I think it was like $4. The lady thought it was a reproduction. I played right along, played right along," he told ABC News affiliate WFTS.

After 16 years of collecting Barbies, Stanley has no plans to slow down anytime soon.

He still goes to Barbie conventions and garage sales and is always on the hunt for a Barbie he doesn't own.

"Barbie's not just for little girls. It's for everybody who enjoys quality," he said.

Even though the dolls have overtaken his bedroom, he's happy to share the space.

"You wake up in a good mood, because you always have beauty around you," Stanley told WFTS.
