He didn't campaign on climate change. He has no mandate to mitigate climate change.

He didn't emphasize that aspect of the many issues at stake. So what? He didn't reject the problem either, which Romney did, and Romney lost.

Yes. He does have a mandate from the people. To solve ANY and ALL problems that America faces. Deal with it.

Oh, and the problem is becoming better defined. And I don't just mean Hurricane Sandy.

You talk about weather and then confuse it with climate change. Climate change means that the weather is LESS predictable. Ergo Meteorology will get it wrong more often because past climate patterns no longer apply. Do you have any POINT to your post?

Yes, as in the weather climate change experts are as often incorrect. And your POINT would be to any of your post?

Unfortunately, a "conversation" would have to include intelligent, informed people with open minds, which would limit it to so-called 'liberals' and those who already accept warming as a fact.

You can't include Righties and Deniers in a conversation because they don't want to be included. They only want to deny, mindlessly.

The weather one experiences in a life time is nothing but a molecule on a ticks butt in the grand scheme of things on a 5 BILLION year old planet. A few hundred years of record keeping can't make up for the BILLIONS of years of weather history.

Human life's not significant either, we could be wiped out in a very short time as the dinosaurs were. Nonetheless, I think we should wake up, wise up, and stick around. We're more capable than they were of managing our own climate.

Well, YOU may not be, but many of us are...:)

After the election, toxic topix AGW deniers come up with this?

Looks like the re-election of Pres. Barack Obama has taken the sting out of their toxin.

Noted: toxic topix AGW denier posts have slowed down after the election.
