The medical marijuana shop next to a tattoo parlor on a busy street in Los Angeles looks much like hundreds of other pot dispensaries that dot the city.

In order for marijuana to be legalized our government would have to admit they were wrong. That's not something they are willing to do. Just watch the movie Refer Madness. It's very funny. That public service announcement again Marijuana is so twisted. They claimed it made you crazy, caused you to drive fast and get in fights. Never once has anyone died from smoking grass. When's the last time you saw a stoner driving over five miles an hour?Or the last time you saw a stoner get in a fist fight? The government made marihuana illegal and they like it that way. Dang idiots. Let the pot heads out of jail. Think of the money saved there!!
Some people are allergic to pot believe it or not. And yes, some have died although very few.

We can't legalize pot or any other recreational drug. Years ago, our leaders signed a treaty with the UN and other countries that prohibits us from making recreational drugs legal. The states who passed laws to have legalized pot will likely lose that right once it gets to the Supreme Court.

Drug laws are the stupidest things on the book and trying to enforce them is a large waste of money.
Even if it was possible to get rid of all illegal drug all it would do is increase the sale of Thunderbird and mad dog20/20
having said that its also stupid to think the government is going to make any money if they legalize weed. Who is going to pay a $5 a pack tax on Marijuana when you can grow it in your own backyard?
If it were possible, they would keep cultivation of pot illegal while allowing the sale of it to go on. You can buy whisky in any of our states, but you can't make moonshine even for personal consumption.

Why don't you do the slightest bit of research before you respond?
Some people have allergic reactions to marijuana. It is a weed that flowers, and people with any kind of weed alergies like ragweed or hay fever can get similar reactions to marijuana (runny or itchy nose, eye watering, sneezing, skin rashes or hives). Some have developed these reactions after years of smoking without any problem.
Though extremely rare, there have been cases of anaphylaxic shock, which can be fatal, though this occurs from ingesting cannibinoids while still wet or moist (as in a tea), which causes a different reaction to cannibinoids when dry, which it pretty much must be to be smoked.
It also causes anxiety or panic attacks, though medical marijuana is often prescribed to treat anxiety, but like any drug, there is a small percentage of people who will have an adverse reaction.
But you're not particularly interested in facts, something everyone here already knew.

I didn't know some people were allergic to pot until a few years ago. I was sitting home one night on the weekend listening to my police scanner when I heard dispatch call out my address. I didn't know what was going on until I heard them give out the location of the apartment.

The call came from the apartment I just rented out to a young guy. Actually, I put the lease in his mothers name since he had no job because he was going to school here in Cleveland. He decided to have a party for his New York buddies in his new apartment.

One of his guests became ill after smoking pot. So they said, it was the first time he ever tried it. I figured he just freaked out on the stuff because it does make some people feel strange. But as it turned out, he was physically allergic to marijuana.

The paramedics hauled him out of here and the hospital kept him for several hours, so it's nothing to take lightly.

Thing is Pot easy to grow. way easier then making moonshine. Moment it becomes legal most people will start growing it in their backyard or garage.
Even today most Police departments here in California have better things to do then go after some body with a couple of plants.

It is a waste of time and energy. I don't know anything about growing pot. I haven't smoked the stuff in years because my line of work requires drug testing, but from what I understand, pot today is much more potent than in the days where I used it. I don't know if you can grow that kind of quality at home. I know I tried a couple of times when I was younger, and at least up north, it doesn't come out very well.

LOL. After you read his stuff for a while, you'll realize he's nothing but a troll. He posts to Topix almost 24/7, but I guess you can do that living in a trailer park and not working.

I don't need to research when someone who has lied before and lied frequently- so much as to earn the nickname PINOCCHIO before this- to call him out on this.

Liars need to be called out IMMEDIATELY.

That's because you're a f*king idiot on top of being o f*KING pathological liar.

There is probably not a substance on the face of this earth that someone isn't allergic to including pot.

Now do tell us the name of the person who died from this allergic reaction.

PS: I've seen "Reefer Madness" and have had the government lie to me before. As they say: lie once, shame on you... lie twice... shame on me from not knowing where you are so I could pound in your lying face.

If the paramedics took him to the hospital, you should be able get a police report.

Still waiting for the name of the person who died from smoking pot, Pinocchio.

Since - in the very least 75 million people in the US TODAY- have smoked or tried pot, there certainly should be some reports of fatalities that you can back up your... story.

Because- as you and I know and I have already proved- you are a m/f c/s liar.

Pinocchio?
