Neo con / Hillary hawk type Democrats (and liberal partisans on topix) have been harping on "Russian hacking" for years while the racist distortion of the voting process via Interstate Crosscheck, via poor voting infrastructure in poor and college heavy precincts, and via voter ID laws were humming along without notice.

These people are slow on the uptake, unfortunately.

This woman has to make money somehow. She is thousands of dollars in personal debt. She is also another egomaniac like Hillary that cannot believe she lost her election. It had to be fraud. It couldn't possibly be because the people of Georgia felt she wasn't qualified to govern.

Oh yeah! Her and Beto could fix it all. Both probably rent their TV's at rentacenter. That is some real leadership there.

2017 marks a low point in U.S. history, and two-thirds of us are stressed about the future of the country. According to a poll by the American Psychological Association, 60 percent of people surveyed said 2017 is the lowest point in U.S. history. 63 percent said they feel stressed about the future of the nation. When broken down by party identification, 75 percent of Democrats said they find the nationís future as a source of stress, compared to 60 percent of Republicans. Trump saw a weakness in our system of democracy, rather than finding a remedy he found a way to exploit it to win the election. Trump has forfeited any right to courtesy, he pushed vicious, racist lies about Obama to gather a racist core of followers that deserves nothing but contempt. His political base wants the lie to be true, a vile, calculated lie designed to fire up the racists. He continues to lie daily, his style is a purposely mangling of the facts. His rallies are an embarrassment to our great nation and the world.

If 2/3 of American voters were stressed Democrats would have picked up way more then 36 seats in the House, and not lost 4 Senate seats. You are delusional.

You make at least two flawed assumptions there, because you're a stupid, hyper partisan hack.

It does not follow that feeling stressed - regardless of Party - results in liberalism. The fear more often results in flights to nationalism, to authoritarianism, to scapegoating, i.e., to the right wing or Republican brand.

The Republicans are much better at gaming elections via "legal" mechanisms, such as Interstate Crosscheck, gerrymandering, corrupt election officials sometimes running in the elections they're supposed to supervise, voter id laws. The Republicans have done very, very well electorally given that the majority of Americans identify and register as Democrats.

Given all the factors in play I am surprised the Democrats made as many inroads as they managed to.

Democrats will not represent the American people. They have nothing to give. All they can do is have phony investigations that won't mean a thing to the American people that want results. Not higher taxes to take care of illegal aliens. Not gun control. The second amendment was written to protect us from people like the current Democrats. Not open borders when we might finally be getting the illegal entry under control. Just wild-eyed accusations that mean nothing for 2 years when, tiring of all the nonsense Republicans take back the House, and we can finish the job.

Evidently, Stacy Abrams just hates America, the American people, the constitution, our flag and anthem the rule of law and our culture and moral values. What does this woman is seeking in America that she cannot find in other countries?

"A poll taken by the Psychological Association?" Really, a poll taken by people that deal with the mentally challenged says 60% think 2017 was a low point in History? How about a poll taken of the mentally sound people spending their tax cut, not worried the Republicans will take their legal guns, open the border to thieves, and criminals of every stripe, and raise their taxes to take care of people well able to take care of themselves, but bred to poverty. The next 2 years will give Americans a vivid portrayal of what each political party stands for, and what they did for all Americans holding power for 2 years each.
