Yes we know that if the economy crashes as you hope, you will blame President Obama. But if things get better you will somehow spin it to credit the Republicans. You are the problem.

<quoted text>The point is that althougth the Republicans claim it is the Democrats who will not compromise it is the Republicans black mailed the country with the fiscal cliff. It was the Republicans who refused to compromise and was it the Democrats who compromised and gave the Republicans 98% of what they wanted. Everything Boner just said was excactly what the Republicans were offering during the election that was voted down by the people. Now the Republicans think they can over-ride the election mandate with the same tactics.
Swamp, buddy, come on, stop playing the D and R game.

The root problems will still be there. The debt based currency and the who actually controls the issuance of the currency.

Until that is fixed, by going back to the Greenbacks of Lincoln. The problem will never be resolved.

Republicans and Democrats, will not and cannot fix the problem. And instead of debating the true root problem, right now you are arguing D's and R's. When both the D's and R's are nothing more than gangs. The Bloods and Crips.

Priority to the gangs is the gang itself, the second priority is to the financials of that gang. Hence the laws that the gang of 535 in Washington benefit their campign contributors and not the people.

*sigh* More DNC talking points. You really should learn some history. Volusia County schools at their finest?

Look, why was there a surplus? If you do not know the entire situation, its better to learn it before speaking.

Under Clinton, he did increase taxes, which did help to take care of a sympton of the root problem, but, not the root problem itself.

In order to get the surplus, the Clinton administration also repealed the Glass Steagle Act that was established by another progressive hero FDR. The purpose of that act was to put controls on the banks after the banks crashed the markets in 1929. The Act broke up and seperated the banks from being commercial and investment banks at the same time. With the repeal, banks like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc.. were able to become one again and create the Ken Ley of Enron vision of derivatives (an insurance bet).

Along with the false hood in the banking industry and higher taxes, the Clinton administration also started to downsize the military. However, the downsized int he wrong areas. The downsized those here at home while increasing the size of the military we have over seas.

The surplus was based on a complete lie of financial security when it was derivatives paying out 1000 to 1.

Swampturd, you are too dumb to walk and chew gum at the same time. Your non-stop farting on here is only repulsive and just serves to make people all the more disgusted with you. Go over to your local democrat office and volunteer to help them, that would at least be of some service. But heads up, it will NOT entail your discussing anything other than where is the toilet bowl cleaner and the mop.

You mean the peak baby boom earning years and selling bonds with lower interest rates and accumulating tax revenues with stock market gains and gutting the military and using the mammoth surplus in social security funds and doing a minor face lift on welfare and other things that masked the real deficit with fun and games....And then the stock market collapsed his last year as president. Then Bush took over.

No ...the voters confirmed that Rev Wrights God Damn America message defines us when we surrendered to obama again. Pathetic losers voted for a dramatically devalued future for our pitiful families. It is going to be messy but any Nations collapse into hopelessness and despair is always messy.

At least we didn't fight and lose a bloody civil war. We surrendered simply by voting to lose.

Just think: Hillary (woman's vote, foreign experience, senatorial experience, White House experience
and
Deval Patrick - experience in Bill Clinton administration, experience as Governor of MA
Barack will 'campaign' for the ticket (he owes Bill Clinton!) and use his 'ground game' to put these two forward and assure another black man is in the pipeline.
Republicans - definitely a latino on the ticket maybe two minorities. Thinking: Rubio and Rice
Rubio & Rice??

A Cuban & a black lesbian for the GOP ticket?

Is that a joke??

Sorry, but most of the $6 Trillion in additional debt DOES come from Bush Lite programs: two unfunded wars, the unfunded Medicare Part D, and of course the Bush Lite tax cuts -- which created a STRUCTURAL deficit, as in ongoing yearly.

You may have noticed that NONE of these expensive programs ended on January 20, 2009. We are out of Iraq, but still in Afghanistan, the fix of Part D hasn't taken effect yet, and the Bush Lite tax cuts are STILL creating that structural deficit. It is COMPLETELY FAIR to blame Bush Lite's programs for causing massive deficits YEARS after he left office.

I realize that you Repubs would really love to just forget about Bush Lite -- but we are STILL paying for his legacy of DEBT!

More Rat Wing spin. Glass Steagle was repealed with the Gramm Leach Bliley act. Gramm Leach Bliley were all Republicans. Democrats are trying to reinstate Glass Steagle but are being blocked by Republicans. Put simply, Democrats are trying to regulate Wall Street and the Banks while the Republicans are trying to further deregulate Wall Street and the banks, and you are trying to spin a picture that the opposit exists. LOL!

Stop carrying the DNC flag. You are still arguing D versus R and it is getting you nowhere.

Republicans and Democrats, both parties have allowed the Wall Street Banks to what they want when they want.

Yes TARP was not a bail out. It was a buy out and cover up. Just like the $787B stimulus package that your boy pushed through.

You are arguing a side that is bought and paid for. Just like the Republicans are bought and paid for. You actually still believe that the government enacts laws that benefit the people. Well, news flash there sunshine. They take care of the bribes and pay offs aka campaign contributions.

Merger of corporations and government by definition is fascism.

The Fiscal Cliff is much ado about nothing. President Obama is in complete control of the situation.
Actually, everytime the stuff hits the fan, Obama jumps on Air Force One and finds a reason to get out of town. It gives not only him but the MSM time to fabricate a different story.

I love how when the Dems screw up you talk about how it is the Dems fault. But when the Republicans screw up you claim it is both parties fault. The Republicans are about deregulating business. That is what they repeatedly campaign on. But when their deregulation goes sour suddenly it is the Democrats fault. You really need to turn off the Republican noise machine on Fox. It has warped ypur brain.

You knows what happens when you assume right? You make yourself look like an ass.

I am not a Republican. I am also not a Democrat.

I may be a registered Libertarian, however, I consider myself a constitutional conservative.

So keep on trying, you lost this one. Admit it.

So you are another Republican who can no longer admit it. You think that by not admitting any allegence it means you no longer have to defend the bad policies of t6he Republicans leaving you free to attack Democrats. It is a lot easier to be against than to be for something.

Is that why the whole campaign was hate filled lies ran in campaign ads by Obama, because it was easier to be against everything than to tell the truth of the four years of failure.
