You mean a youtube of the person in question saying, out of her own gaping maw, what I told you isn't a reliable source? Maybe I should point you to Daily Koz?

<quoted text>Exactly. What type weapons does these gun nuts choose primarily in mass gun school shootings?
Are you an idiot (he asked rhetorically)?

If I go out tomorrow and order an AR15, does that mean I will be on the news the next day after massacring a bunch of elementery school kids?

Holy CRAP you are a DOPE!!!!!!!!!

Nope, not footage from youtube, you may have saw the footage where Elvis was shown over three times last week in Wal Mart.{sic}
I will accept any state, national, world organizations where their broadcasts have been proven to be above reproach.
Like ABC and CBS?

Translation: let us ban your modern semi automatic rifles with high capacity magazines. When that ban doesn't work, we'll start the proceedings to ban the other guns one style at a time, until none are legal.

Non gun people will always say BAN THE SCARY GUN... Crimony, if they knew anything they'd ban the 7mm deer rifle that can be very scary when you're standing 800 yards away and knock argues head off.....
Get a clue people.....223s shot from a big scary looking gun are TWENTY TWO CALIBER...... They fly out the end of a barrel and go any which way the wind is blowing.
7mm ammo has some weight to it. Can be deadly from much much further away. The wood grain stock of a deer rifle isn't nearly as scary though is it???? Just ban the scary ones right?
LOL
Right, because scary ones are the first choice of gun nuts!!!

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

SO in your expert opinion, there will be no more "gun nuts" and ZERO mass shootings if we take away all of the "scary" guns?

THAT'S MORONIC you do realize.....

Who again is going to come and take your guns away, our military, police first responders, etc.?

Simple question, should be a simple answer, unless....
I answered your question! Apparently it wasn't the answer you were waiting to pounce on, so you accuse me of not answering.

It is impossible for a teacher or janitor to keep an assault weapon,(and it would need to be to match an intruders weapon) on their person continually. At some point the weapon would need to be secured and students could and would get to it.
That is just a stupid, unrealistic dream.
Makes more sense to do some gun regulation add bullet proof glass and doors like they have in Convenience Stores. Our kids are worth that I believe. They have a right to an education free of that kind of danger.
More cameras extending further out on school grounds. These are things we can do now.
I urge you, if you're a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt or if you just care about kids, call your Congressmen/Women and your district Representative and tell them to do these simple things that can be done without passing any bills.
Great common sence actions and not bringing in more gun madness. Although, there are some situations where well trained professionals are required.

I have already informed my governnmental representatives of my opinions.

Thanks!

<quoted text>OK, better. If we as citizens are faced with situations that are detrimental to a safe enviroment, then is it not our responsibility to attempt to improve those conditons or actions? If those improvements are only a degree of controls?

Seat belts, speed limits, unsafe working conditions, tainted foods, explosives, military type weapons that are chosen in a majority of mass killings.
Sure, I couldn't agree more. However, trying to improve conditions by implementing more of the already failed policies, serves only to worsen the condition. My point is, the correct contributing factors need to be address. Banning guns and violating the law abidings' rights, is not the correct answer.

Look at how many still do not wear seat belts despite the law. How many break the speed limit despite the law? How many businesses still have unsafe working conditions despite the law? How many tainted foods and products do we still see despite laws and regulations? How many children got shot at Sandy Hook with a weapon that was already banned in CT?
You can make the laws all day long. The law abiding are the only ones that will obey. The law abiding are the ones that will suffer the consequences.

Why would a teacher or janitor need an "assault rifle" to address one shooter?
You really should think before you post.

Armed with what XX? Obamas' proposal allows funding for that for the Schools that want it.
It just doesn't make much sense. They had armed guards at Columbine, remember?
And that made a difference.

No, but if those weapons are harder to acquire, the odds of that gun nut may get professional help, change his mind, get back on his medicaation, talk to someone and either thatpeson changes the shooters mind or reports the threat to proper authorites, or take his own life before he kills innocent people.

Isn't there a chance these sceneors are worth a try instead of grieving parents buying Chritmas gifts instead of caskets?

Me, I'd try almost all procedures to keep more parents from looking into a empty bedroom for the rest of their lives!

Those "scary guns" are not viewed as such for a shooter who's intent to kill as many as quickly as possible. Do you not agree?

Absolutely, some of these gun nuts would have that attitude. Did you see the nuts stroking their military type weapons before they attacked the Colunbine School?

Hell, look how some defend their right to keep and use these assult weapons, and there is no duubt some would die or kill for that privlage.

There is no both sides to this. Every time there are both sides involved, Repubs lose. And we move further left. These fools are bringing the tyranny of a police state faster. They are to dumb to realize it as winning personal issues during bad times is their gaia. Of course the police state will eliminate those rights and issues gained. But everyone will suffer and worse. Who knew that biblical scripture about being blinded and left to their own desires would be true time after time except those who read it?
