I don't believe he is unwittingly playing into the Presidents game , it more looks like he is playing the role as a co-conspirator working hand in gloves pulling the wool over the eyes of the American people.

If John McCain thinks he's a wacko bird then he must be pretty good. McCain is one of the worst, if not THE WORST, legislators of all time. His choice of legislating buddies, Teddy Kennedy, is indicative of that.

Senator Cruz takes his job serious. If he wants a rewrite on that atrocious bill he will deride it until he gets one. He is from Texas, I think. They don't take no for an answer, especially if the question come from a liberal Senate!! We have immigration laws, and it is time we honored them!!

If McCain was the only person who thought this man was a "wacko bird" I might agree with you but any reasoned or rational person who listens to Cruz would agree with McCain.

In addition, you might also wtf at his comments.

If you don't like Cruz you will hate the next group of conservatives we are grooming for 2014. Even the Democrats are beginning to see a problem with this current government.

Listen to McCain?
I have a brother who was a Marine for 4 years... he is extreme in his thinkin', I love him/deal with him,and disagree with him many times over ... he love America and does not agree with McCain at all. McCain needs to retire,he is old.
It's time for a new , brighter thought process. these old goat/hippy era need to go.... we need fresh thinkers.

He is from Alberta, Canada.

Ironically his Cuban father received his US legal status through the wet foot/dry foot policy that puts Cubans on a fast track to permanent residency just be setting foot in the US.

The United States gives migrants from Cuba special treatment that no other group of refugees or immigrants receives. Cruz does not seem to have an issue with this. There seems to be some selective outrage on Ted's part as far as immigration goes.

Ted Cruz is off to a bad start as a US Senator. He clearly forgets about his family roots when he's talking about not liking a pathway to citizenship.

When you change your screen name you should probably change your repetitious prattle too. It gives you away every time.

Amnesty has been the biggest road block to immigration reform. Honest people who want to immigrate have been held hostage by those who want to see this country become northern Mexico. Let's reform the immigration system and enforce the laws that punish and deport the criminals that come here looking for a free ride. Why do we need to grant amnesty to criminals while honest people who have something to offer are cast aside?
