Obamacare countdown: 194 days....

Four big factors were seen as pushing insurance costs down next year:

-Patients seeking more affordable routine services in settings like clinics springing up in retail stores, as opposed to a doctor's office or the emergency room.

-Major employers contracting directly with hospital systems that have a proven record for complicated procedures such as heart surgery and certain back operations.

-The government ramping up penalties on hospitals that have too many patients coming back with problems soon after being discharged.

-Employers' ongoing effort to shift more costs to workers through higher annual deductibles, the amount people must pay each year before insurance picks up.

The CBO and Power Elite in Washington never expected this to work, they just want to get past the court and responsibility.

The DNC can wait for the house of cards to be blown down, or lie and move as fast as it can to make its effort, UNFIXABLE.

Maybe the Heritage foundation can come up with a fix that gives even more of our money to some rich guy. We should ask them to fix their own program and ask Obama to quit caving to every whim of the GOP.

ObamaCare could not have been passed if it had not done secret back door deals with Big Pharma. Wall Street Journal found that Pfizer CEO and Big Pharma colluded with the White House at the public’s expense.

Google who some of big pharma's biggest investors happen to be....duh..you got conned.

There is a virus in the WhiteHouse, his caving is only a stall, the game can be explained by V.Puten.

The Heritage foundation created the program. Romney pushed it hard in Mass. It is a republican program from its foundation.

Obama was simply playing politics, which is what politicians do. He put the GOP in a bad position of having to either support their own policies and Obama, or refute their own policies and attack Obama. Either way, Obama wins. The GOP decided at the top level for every republican to oppose their own programs and attack Obama. The GOP is now in a bad position, having created ObamaCare and now having to attack their own creation. The GOP is also in the bad position of having no idea of where to go from here. They have no plan, knowing they might have to attack that plan if Obama accepts it.

The liberals didn't want ObamaCare, they wanted universal single payer. Instead of taking all our money and giving it to a few rich guys, it could have gone to health care, lowering costs for everyone.

That's what I said. He could have allowed discussion about universal single payer. Had that been discussed, it would have been graded by the GAO. When graded it would have been obvious how much money it would save and how much it would improve health care. Instead we are stuck with this horrible republican attack on the middle class. Had Obama been honest he would have changed his political affiliation to republican long ago.

Nothing has given or will give more money to the 'rich guy' than Øbama-scare by forcing citizens to buy a product they may neither need nor want. I know that, since it passed, my premiums went from a little over $8k/year to now over $13k. Tell me again how Øbama-scare will cut health care costs, and how Øbama only cares about the little guy.

Single-payer would be more disastrous in/to our country's economy than the current disaster of Øbama-scare.

Yup, Obama should have changed his political affiliation to republican.

My premiums were $2000 per month prior to Obama care, and for that I got almost nothing. Universal single payer is the only way to cut the very rich out of taking so much of our money.

Quit buying the propaganda from the rich. They tell you that so you keep giving them your money.

Single payer would cost less, and think about how much it would free up businesses when they no longer contribute to gigantic insurance bill. Businesses would flourish, health care costs would drop as people can utilize less expensive care (for example, going to a clinic instead of an emergency room).
