Oh, I forgot - progressives.

I used to be a Republican (yea right a liberal one)

GB spent too much money. Correct - by trying to partner with liberal ideas.

Gitmo - let's see we will close down a perfectly working facility and go spend a half billion dollars to put it somewhere else. Makes perfect liberal sense.

Term limits - wholeheartedly agree.

Two Good Kansas Senators protecting the state. If Brownback would only get on board with getting rid of Illegals he could be a Outstanding Governor when elected.

Why do the detainees have to be in Kansas? Why not Colorado or even Alaska? I remember seeing a Mayor on TV who wanted practically "ALL" of the detainees. The small town had just built this beautiful prison and they had 'NO" prisoners. He said they could use the money. Asked about the possiblity of the detainees escaping, he said "There is nothing around the prison for miles and besides, we all carry guns". I believe the town was in Wyoming or Montana. I'm kicking myself that I didn't catch the name.

Anyway, Colorado can house the detainees. They're a "Liberal" State who voted for Obama and his 'Policies'. The detainees don't realize how good they have it. Locked up 23hrs/day with only an hour of recreation. The next thing, they will be complaining about is their 'Rights'. Let Colorado have the "Headache". We didn't vote for Obama.

LOL where did this clown get an education? Where-ever these detainies get incarcerated means jobs and money for the local economy. Maybe Kansas would not be the ideal locacation as it is obvious that the hillbilly grandma is not the smartest prison guard.

Exactly!(I was never a republican at heart, but to have your vote count in Kansas, that is the party you must register as). I couldn't agree more. And to think the republicans refer to it as Obama's deficit. Why have we let our legislators have a supreme level of medical care, automatic pay raises, lifetime pensions, Mondays and Fridays off for travel days(in fact they only work about 1/4 of the days, paid first class travel, little oversight over campaign donations, loopholes in any campaign reform laws, and much much more. If our representatives were on Blue Cross-Blue Shield, and had to help pay for it along with co pay, they would have more interest in health care reform. But it all comes back to the fact that they work for the people who pay them the big dollars. Even though we pay them way to much, we are not the people they work for. Any legislator who has received funds from the medical industry since 1992 should do the honorable thing, and excuse themselves from the discussions and the vote. If that isn't a conflict of interest, I don't know what is. Our legislators could change all these issues if they wanted to, but they don't. They think they are America's royalty. It is time for a complete change, and to put public service back into our representation.

Dead on you are correct on every point.

Look Repubs and Dems have sold out the U.S. Tax Payers for years to special entrust groups, foriegn countries, and big business. Obama and Biden took more money from the banks we bailed out then anyone in Washington. But Repubs also took money from the banks even John McCain. We need to clean out Washington by voting Third Party when we can. When we can't vote again'st the one that is in Washington now. They can't do any worse then what we have had the last twenty + years.

Normally I would pity vermin like you, but when you dare disrespect your betters, be it me or my friends (WJDC, MARIE, Paloma, EL Cubano, Eyes Open, Militant Poet, Peter, Santiago, Heidekraut Dr Burro etc) then I DESPISE YOU, pull back no punches, & tell you like it is. Well, I gave you an earful; did I mention I have an IQ of less than 109? You are too unimportant, so regardless of your response, maggot, I will ignore you.

Don't cry maggot, don't be jealous, just get off your butt & start doing something constructive! Bye now, no I won't waste time on you again, regardless of your response, insignificant one. Right ... no partisan crap going on here.

Apparently, Brownback and Roberts figure that CONVICTED criminals pose less of a threat than SUSPECTED ones do.

You damn Obama for "dragging" his feet on cleaning up the Guantanamo mess, but when part of the solution is to put the detainees in Kansas, you damn him and cry "Not In My Back Yard."

You and your kind won't be happy until there's another retarded Bush in the White House.

And yes, Sarah Palin qualifies as a retarded bush.

I never damned Obama for "dragging" his feet. That was the 'Liberals'. They were the ones who wanted to 'Close Guantanamo'. I was perfectly happy keeping the detainees where they were. But, since the Democrats wanted Gitmo closed, then they can house the detainees in their 'Backyard', not mine.

Oh, and by the way, Sarah Palin is one smart 'Cookie' and she doesn't 'LIE' to the American People.
