There should only be cuts to food stamps once the U6 rate drops below 10%. Once the U6 number is below 10%, than the economy has recovered enough jobs for the food stamp program to be significantly cut ( http://www.portalseven.com/employment/unemplo... )

Once the economy gets to U6 of 10%, the government cut start to cutting social welfare significantly, because the economy is no longer in severe depression and there is enough jobs for people to get work.

A CREDIBLE JOBS CREATION POLICY WOULD HAVE NO NEED FOR WELFARE AS WAGES AND SALARIES WOULD PROVIDE THE NECESSARY RESOURCES TO LIVE.

I agree. I'm also tired of supporting people on welfare and , disabled social security. BEFORE EVERYONE JUMPS ON ME, I realize there are some who truly need it. But its hard going to work every day, working shift work while several of my neighbors sit on their porch all day long smoking cigs, drinking beer and having a good ole time on my sweat. I dare say 80% could work if they would. It almost like a life style for some. Seems to run in the family. I don't want anyone to go hungry, but damn, give the working man a break.

Food stamps is a life style for probably 90% of the people on the program.

Cut off funds for all illegals! In the city of La Puente Ca,(Hilda Solis's hometown). The Mayor and council members have turned the city into a haven for illegal Mexicans. The illegals receive free housing, all utilities, W.I.C.(women infants & children) free transportation for school for illegal children, welfare benefits and free school meals for illegal children in school. The Illegals that have taken over La Puente have a free ticket to all resources given to them by city officials. The few Americans residing in La Puente are being pushed out by the illegal Mexicans and City council members of that city. The illegal Mexicans run the city now.

Seems like the only solution would be for all the honest, legal tax paying citizens to move out and stop paying city taxes that support these illegals and let them run the town in the ground since the government won't stop this. These government programs are like when you feed a cat. The cat keeps coming back then has a litter brings them and it keeps snowballing. If they would quit feeding the cat, the cat would finally get hungry enough to start hunting for food like it was suppose to do, or die of laziness. Like I said before, I don't want people to go hungry and there are some who really need it but, everyone who gets these handouts should have to do it legally and honestly.
