Who really cares about a new immigration reform law .
The government does not enforce the laws we have now so what make anybody think that Obama and his do nothing democrats would enforce a new law . Asking for 3.7 billion is stupid , we have Americans that need help and schools that need money .

Thank you Nancy Pelosi for your leadership by opposing altering our established law to create shortcuts around the immigration court system for the young refugees who look to us as a compassionate people for help.

Really ?
Compassion has nothing to do with the way democrats are exploiting these kids
Yes its sad but if the government would enforce our laws we would not have this problem to begain with .
Are you even old enough to remember when Fl. Was over run with Cuban refugees and all the drugs and killing that followed . Well I do remember !
This like that will turn out bad just wait
And to think this would never happen if the government would only enforce the law ...

Rifles ) and we wonder why border patrol gets shout at . Good job Holder

The reality is that we are enforcing the law and that Nancy Pelosi opposes weakening it by changing its intent. The law is not about "exploiting these kids" and was signed by Republican President George W. Bush. While xenophobia is a serious problem, it's extended catastrophic fantasizing is not a reasonable excuse to authorize our border patrol to summarily force child refugee return without a legal hearing.

According to Jon Feere(legal policy analyst at The Center For Immigration Studies),the 2008 law applied only to unaccompanied minors who don't have a parent or guardian already in the US- a situation that doesn't apply to a significant majority of the vermin jumping the borders. Since there is little evidence to suggest that the parasites currently arriving at the US border are victims of trafficking, and few can be described as "unaccompanied" under federal law,the 2008 law has limited applicability to the current border surge. He also said, that while vermin are often being smuggled, there's little evidence they are being trafficked against their wishes. Rather, their families are paying smugglers to help them on their journey, which they shouldn't qualify for trafficking protections.

"We are at present working discreetly, but with all our might, to wrest this mysterious force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local national states of the world.

And all the time we are denying with our lips what we are doing with our hands.

Oh yes, how can you turn away those darling little faces? What kind of heart do you have?

Pffft! What a cheap shot! They can no longer justify letting the average illegal in so they employ this method???? It's downright dirty!

Those darling little (not so homeless) creatures won't be so darling someday. Mark my words, they will be just as vicious as the Nazis that have joined the Ukraine army. Hungry for the land they'll be awarded for killing you!

Pelosi is an irrelevant, confused and stammering old lady. She made no sense when she still had at least a modest control of her faculties. Now she simply wanders around making confused statements try to get some kind of attention. Pelvis has become an "also attended" at the back of the room - where she belongs. Stale ideas and failed policies will be the legacy of this "once was". When put into practice her wild liberal ideas failed one by one consistently - no wonder she gets along with Obama so well.

Nonsense. Wearing shoes on the wrong foot looks really silly to those not conditioned to seeing it routinely. That's a problem the tea partiers' political machine shares with Comrade Putin's. It must be especially embarrassing to get caught working both simultaneously.

We has American born citizens have the right to defend our country from foreign invaders .
These are foreign invaders , if the government can't do the job that the taxpayers pay them to do than they leave no choice . American people may need to step up against this invasion .

And yes it was a republican law that President Bush put into place to help children in need but all law need some common sense . And when it comes to the safety of the American citizens and this country no one or nothing should stand in the way .
And it is sad that democrats would take a law intinded to help children and turn it around to exploit them instead ...

When is either party going to start watching these thousands of millions of dollars that our working people have given them? The Democrats tax and spend and the Republicans throw away Billions as well. We are loosing our good solid jobs to slave labor people who do not care about the people who work for them and we give hundreds of millions of dollars to other countries who will never give us anything of good value in return. Something is wrong with both sides of the picture.

I have heard of so much money being available in places like Iraq that they were tossing bales of it around and giving it to people. The Republicans need to watch where the military money is really all going. Yes, we know the Democrats only have one answer to every problem and that is to tax and spend, but someone needs to watch the spending more closely on both sides.

Only 21 percent of Americans now say they support the Tea Party movement. Support for the Tea Party has risen as high as 31 percent since The Times and CBS News first began asking about it four years ago. Support has hovered between 20 and 25 percent over the last year and a half.
