Republicans ram $4 trillion budget bill through Senate, boosting Trump tax-cut goal

There are 210 comments on the The Japan Times story from Oct 19, 2017, titled Republicans ram $4 trillion budget bill through Senate, boosting Trump tax-cut goal. In it, The Japan Times reports that:

Republicans on Thursday muscled a $4 trillion budget through the Senate in a major step forward for President Donald Trump's ambitious promise of "massive tax cuts and reform." The 51-49 vote sets the stage for debate later this year to dramatically overhaul the U.S. tax code for the first time in three decades, cutting rates for individuals and corporations while eliminating trillions of dollars of deductions and special interest tax breaks.

Over a half-century ago I was a teenager and the minimum-wage was ninety-cents an hour. It has been raised dozens of times since then and everytime all other wages were raised across the board. Of course the cost of living raised everytime as well. Businesses raised prices in anticipation even before those raises were implemented. Employers had to reduce expenses and did so by lay-offs, workload increases, forced overtime, reduced benefits, sending jobs overseas and hiring of illegal-aliens. Product quality suffered too.Interest rates for savings continually decreased over those years and more currency was thrown into circulation. By 1980 Bernie Sanders was demanding an unrealistic six-dollars an hour minimum-wage. I recall bread for nineteen cents a loaf and gas for nineteen cents a gallon in the early 1960s. Raising the minimum wage increases the price of everything. It inflates the government coffers and gives an unrealistic picture of gold in the streets to foreigners. Will it ever end? If raising the minimum-wage really worked why doesn't our president just order it raised to a hundred dollars an hour? I heartily suggest a MAXIMUM-Wage would be more economically sensible.

An email exchange between the White House and Defense Secretary James Mattis' office reportedly shows the White House asking the department for information regarding the families of service members killed after the president's inauguration in January.

The White House asked for the information on surviving family members so Trump could make sure to contact all of them, according to Roll Call.

The report said that the email exchange came hours after the president said in a Fox News Radio interview Tuesday that he had called nearly all of the families of those killed since he took office.

It is not the Presidents job to call every family. Obama didn't even do it for a General. Instead he played golf. You are just another empty barrel.

You have absolutely no relationship with truth and facts.

The Kellys had lunch at the WH during a ceremony for Gold Star Families and were invited to sit at the President's table.

The current POS in the oval office did zilch for nearly half the 47 grieving families since January

If you had income other than your social security disability benefits for income and actually filed taxes you could calculate your projected tax liability using the released frame work of Trump's tax proposal.

See you are an Oklahoma parasite that doesn't file taxes.

Trump 10 months of Golf Expenses since being in the oval office $74 million

By comparison, The Barack Obama family White House travel expense total for 8 years as president,$90 million dollars

And Trump has only patronized golf courses which Trump has a financial affiliation

Well it definitely hasn't been consider a matter of importance or responsibility to offer the nation's condolences to Gold Star Families by that POS, illegitimate president in the oval office. He would not obviously halt one of the $74 million dollar Golfing Excursions to sign a letter or make a courtsey call to more than half the 47 grieving families since January

Interesting.

What is the tax cut precentage for "average middle class" working Americans that make the proposal "amazing" ?
