"Arizona residents, civil rights groups and Indian tribes sued to challenge the measure, which they say discriminates against otherwise eligible voters"

"Arizona residents"?!!! I don't think so! Try SOME Arizona residents!!!

In summary, mexicans want to vote for dems unhindered! It would be racist to require these people who thrive on fraud to get legitimate ID's because they shouldn't have it in the first place.

Now, what may hinder AZ is the same thing that kept us from preventing illegal alien children from attending our public schools, they didn't have the numbers. Yes, folks, the only reason that illegal alien kids are attending our schools is because they didn't have the numbers to prove the impact of illegal aliens...NOW we do...thus the reason everyone jumps up and down when we ask for birth certificates from school enrollees.

If AZ can't prove that voter fraud has taken place, then they will lose. I hope they win!!!! They probably already have this one covered. After all, I hope they are smarter than me!

The Native American argument is NOT valid. Yes, tribes are in remote areas, etc., and you have home births with no birth certificate IMMEDIATELY,
but WHAT NA DO HAVE IS TRIBAL REGISTRATION!!!! Also, they could easily be accommodated by having polling places on reservations!!!

This sounds like the mexican illegal aliens are trying to pull in the NA's like they have done with the gay marrige thing... Illegal immigration and gay marriage in bed together, who woulda thunk!

we require ID for many things in life including drivers license, liquor, university, jobs, etc. it only makes sense to require ID to prove that you are a citizen of the country to vote.

commonsense.

Tell the Indians the government had a $300 dollar check for every Indian who could prove who he was and watch how fast they come up with an ID.

when all the indian casinos opened up, all the tribes required that people had to prove they were part of their tribe to benefit from the revenues.

if you couldn't show id to prove you were eligible, you didn't share.

commonsense.

the way the liberals want it now. they don't want anybody to have to prove they are citizens of the usa to vote.

unbelievable.

This country is dead in the water if we dont stop this politically correct BS. This no common sense approach to life and living is just overwhelming to witness. I see SC turning into a new third world ghetto every day and I want to just throw up. When I think of these shit maggots being so brazen..enter the country in the middle of the night..good schools inundated with non-english speaking kids..working with false documents..no drivers licenses or insurance..seeing the long lines of pregnant criminal women standing at the food stamp office next door to the tax office..seeing 25 year old men buying 2 grocery carts of supplies with food stamps..these politicians who are supposed to be representing us need to be beheaded for treason..they know what they are doing. They want them voting..false documents..no problem. Bizarre.

ESPECIALLY the young folks.

Yes, people need to speak up but I am afraid that even fewer people are responding even here. I am afraid that many feel that what they have to say here falls on deaf ears. Notice how responses over the past 6 months have been less numerous. Are people giving up on a goverment that appears to be working against us, as opposed to, for us. Even this issue concerning an ID that is without a question, fool proof. Why would this goverment evade the initiation of a biometric ID. This is now what can best be described as rather simple technology that can be done on mass scale..retinal scans are simple..fingerprint and full palm recognition is available. This is not our goverment..I do not know whom they represent.

we all know the only reason is dems could never get elected without fruad.

another thing our votes need to be in english only. to pass the citizenship test to become a citizen they have to know it,so those who don't are most likely illegal aliens.

Sadly, most of which you have stated is true. People feel as though their voice means nothing, as we all have seen how this administration does what it thinks is best, even if it hurts the very people it claims to champion. We are in a very dark place right now. Insolence and arrogance are are too commonplace for those in charge of running this government...to the ground.

A friend of mine moved to Phoenix. She didn't just stroll in and register. She had to prove she lived there to transfer her voter registration. One piece of ID was an AZ DL.
