From the party of wacko's......Michelle Bachmann, Joe Walsh, Paul Ryan, Jim DeMint, Mitch McConnell, Eric Cantor and Allen West?

You never hear about "normal" Republicans in the White House anymore. They have been taken over by the wacko's.

Schumer has no clue, his only goal is to raise taxes, soak the rich, damm them for being successful, make them pay for the excesses of this democrat administration. Along with Obama's mindless obsession with raising taxes, Schumer really doesn't care that there aren't enough rich to tax, even at 100%, to lower the deficit by much more than 5% over ten years. All I can conclude is that the left so hates the successful and the hard working who dare to live without any assistance from the government, that they will confiscate all their earnings as some form of punishment. How silly. How very progressive, Chavez would be proud of them. He's perfected the entitlements in return for life in office, his people dare not vote him out of office, they won't be getting any more free TV's or appliances or all the good stuff Chavez has thrown around.

American already has the MOST PROGRESSIVE tax schedule in the world and Schumer wants to make it even worse, soon, only the "Wealthy" will be paying any taxes and the democrats will OWN the rest of the workers who will be paying nothing and they will never vote them out of office even when America goes the way of Greece.

If there are any moderate republicans left, they're scared to open their mouths. Olympia Snow is resigning for this very reason, as also Jon Huntsman, the only SANE republican on the ballot this year, refused to go to the RNC because of "the toxic enviornment within my own party."

Kudos to Huntsman for having the balls to call them EXACTLY what they are!

Tony, do you believe that politicians should be trustworthy and honorable? By that statement as to stand by their convictions of the wrongs of the past. Never letting the bad things of the past repeat themselves even if the politicians affected as a ethnic/cultural/gender/etc. group remind all others of the past wrongs

ALL Obama has done so far was to RUBBER STAMP the Bush tax cuts when they were due to expire.

Obama had FOUR YEARS to fix this.

Now the cuts are about to expire again.

Congress won't attempt to do anything about this until AFTER the election.

For anyone who would base their vote on this lip service about raising taxes on the rich, I hear there is a bridge for sale in Brooklyn. <LOL>

I find it difficult to equate "trustworthiness" with politics. I don't think one can ever equate all problems throughout the world on the back of any president / his administration has a larger part to play in the final decision making process. The world is far more complex to deal with than anyone here pretending to have more knowledge and posting here consistently has actual knowledge of.

By this, to use an analogy, do I blame the 246 deaths in Beirut on Reagan? No - instability in the world make things of this nature highly improbable to contemplate. If we all knew the man vying for president had a "Crystal Ball", he would be the man for the job.
