The Buffett tax? Is that the one where you hire a team of attorneys so you don't have to pay any taxes, but your secretary does?

Which part of the following sentence doesn't make sense ?

Jimbo is in favor of special tax breaks for the wealthiest.

Go onto Yahoo finance and look at the cash on hand in US corporations, then look at the cash equivalent write offs, NOL's. What do you see?

Why is Buffett still fighting the Federal Government for the last three years over a couple million dollars if he really wants to pay more taxes.....frauds and fakes........it's the liberal way.

Tell ya what Billy, first don't try to put words or your opinions like they were mine. You have no clue. Second look at ObamaScareTax and the other 1700 regulations Obama's czars have added and you will find why the corporations are not hiring and why they are holding case. After all it is a still a free country pookie. Start your own company and give it all away, you might be the first to have a grand opening and a going out of business sale at the same time.

Jimbo that was a question.
Not having a clue , maybe so, maybe not.
The Regulation snarl is part of the problem, i have been upfront about that.

The missing pice of the economic puzzle is not investable cash, it is consumers spending by people who's personal finances have been brutalized by our "free"-trade race to the bottom, the middle class consumer is not buying as he once had.
To show off a clue, Look at the average age of American cars. the finances of the auto companies and their sales. Find the bottleneck that is holding up the circulation of cash.
Currently anything that spurs lower and middle class consumer spending is a good thing.

My clueless and uneducated theory
Under current conditions money at the top coagulates
Money at the bottom is insufficient to spur consumption

they will try to tax it, but I'll itemize my deductions and since sis and maw are my dependents, I'll be ok. This time of year, roadkill has to be harvested within 12-18 hours or it starts to turn. I was in Fla last week, stayed at a posh condo on Key Biscayne, how close to Hypoluxo is that? Saw mostly old people, jews and cubans, which of those are you?

It is quite true that spendable cash has a high impact on the economy as it tends to circulate about 8 times as it goes through the cycles. The key of course is Unemployment, the jobs that have been added under Obama are either temp positions or minimum wage jobs. That is not spendable income positions. NO one is going to hire people if you can't budget what they will cost. There is an article out today that states OBAMACARE ARCHITECT: Law 'beyond comprehension;' After bad start,'will only get worse'...*

How are companies going to hire with that boondogle hanging over their head. This is Obama's doing and fault. There are 361,000 articles about Obama pivoting to jobs since before he was even elected. All we've seen is more parties, vacations, lavish trips for his kids and of course golfing weekends at over a million a pop.

We seem to agree, the circulation of money as the primary economic puzzle to resolve.
And it's coagulation at the top.
This confirms my cyclical theory of economics. in '75 the top rate was about 70%. Stagflation occurred because taxation had disrupted the flow creating a lack of supply of capital, and capital inflation. Thus a successful rightward maneuver.
The situation is reversed thus the cure is 'demand side' economics a partial reversal of the past 30 years,

We have a common understanding of the burden of regulation. We can start n New York by elimination of redundant and politically gratuitous bull. Let us stop proving our purity by having an overlap in regulation. Every reg should have a sunset.

On health care. It will be a mess at first any big change is, it should save in the long run. If we are to make major changes in health care , I look to Canada. If you competitor has a better idea steal it.

Most of Obama's first term was triage it could be argued that triage should have taken priority over health care. You can argue the turn to jobs is late.
He is now at the point where his creation s on it's feet. If he can make the 'mess' work he will have done a passable job.

Good deal. We also need a transactions tax on Wall St. to try to slow the frenzied casino action and cut Uncle Sam in for a piece of the action.
