Feb 3, 2013 Full story: Reuters 91

The top Senate Democrat said on Sunday tax revenue must be part of any deal to replace looming automatic spending cuts, despite Republican warnings that they will not buckle over this issue after conceding on tax rises for the rich a month ago.

This is why I see it as pointless to argue with you - you simply come up with absurdities like this instead of rational answers.
Go away.
That's no more "absurd" than thinking we can continue spending TRILLIONS more than we take in and not have a negative effect on the economy.

<quoted text>Your simply a liar! I posted no claims, supported or otherwise, I asked questions, got no answers and do you really think you are that important I would have to consider saving face on an anonymous forum? Please! You simply supported my position you merely a left wing troll who lacks substance and balls!
It went like this, tool.

I made some remarks in a post about revenue and spending. YOU replied with a snotty remark about "my PhD" (which I've noted I don't possess and never claimed to have possessed). I then mocked you and you started crying in this sequence of posts:

So evidently you can't figure out how to look up "Keynesian economics," or simply refuse to, but prefer to make dumb comments about me and how I'm a "troll." That's why I've suggested you're the troll and also an ignoramus with nothing to say. And I believe the record cited above supports that.

Now FOAD, troll. Look it up if you don't understand it...:)

Oh I understand, your a left wing troll who, when faced with tough or probing questions, resorts to diversion, deflection or attacks. I fully understand the philosophy of "Keynesian Economic" My question, snidely, do you? and apparently you don't as you simply resort to name calling. I have neither the time nor the energy to continue to banter with someone who obviously has little education or knowledge of economic strategies and world econonic structures and how they interact. You keep sucking up the koolaid, supporting the Community organizer and his socialist agenda. Perhaps you should send me your email address so when this house of cards falls, you can email and get a job! Later Loser!

That's what I'd figured, but that post made it clear. Loser, yourself.

<quoted text> FactCheck.org called out Senator Harry Reid for being doubly wrong in his claim that Congress has already cut $2.6 trillion from projected future deficits by reducing non-defense programs alone.
The site explained that not only did the legislation he referred to applied to both security and non-security spending, but that a considerable part of the deficit reduction came from tax increases and not spending cuts.
The worst part? The senator made the same erroneous statement twice. Reid made the affirmations on ABC's "This Week" on Feb. 3rd, were he also added that further deficit reduction should include more tax increases and cuts in military spending.

It's really $1.4 trillion, according to FactCheck. The problem is, even if Reid's exaggerating the amount, the GOP is claiming that Obama's administration is doing nothing to reduce deficits at all but is in fact increasing them drastically. You yourself lie about that all the time, Jimbo.

So why blame Reid for doing what you ALL do?:)

Strom Thurmond was one example of a segregationist Southern Dem turned Republican. But in fact the modern-day GOP is almost entirely a white-man's party, as shown by their poll results. Few women and even fewer minorities vote Republican any more. Clearly they're not inclusive, that goes without saying. And Dems HAVE become more inclusive ever since the '60s.

You lie BECAUSE you have to, sadly...

There are examples all over. Byrd was much worse and hid his true feelings.

Byrd quit the Klan years before he became a leading Dem power in Congress, just as Harry Truman did long before he became VP and then President.

Fact is, racism was common back then, and some people started off in bad company. But times and people change.

Got proof Byrd "hid his true feelings" about race? Did you really know him that well?:)
