I can wait for your answer ,I need a laugh.
Who is Satan ,one of your KJB friends ?
Clearly you have zero understanding of “socialism” as practiced by some of the most successful countries in history. Despite popular myths in the US, thanks to rightwing propaganda, there is very little connection between economic performance and welfare expenditure. Many of the socialist countries are proof of that, such as Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Even though these countries are truly socialistic unlike America, the workforce and jobs have remained stronger with a literacy rate of 100% as well as an absence of poverty.
Graft and corruption is the true enemy of free markets, not governments doing their jobs-- ensuring conditions which foster the well being of the people they govern like Finland and Norway. Graft and corruption thrive in countries with no social satiety net and poor education opportunity. This creates a climate in which there can be no free market based on competition, and instead we see a market based on elevation of the most corrupt ruling class - think USA and its financial institutions.

Your logic is seriously flawed it assumes that as system of law is useless what you are proposing is known as anarchy. "Law" is a system of rules a society sets to maintain order and protect harm to persons and property. No one, in their right mind anyhow, is worried about the "law abiding citizen" except, like I said, a law abiding citizen is only a law abiding citizen until he/she is not ...
Well, then if you really believe that, try this: Make a huge sign big enough to cover most of your front porch. The sign will say "NO FIREARMS IN THIS HOUSE." See how that works out for you. Because if you disarm America, that's exactly what you're doing; hanging a sign on the front porch of every law biding citizen in this country letting criminals know that you have no way to protect yourself from a home invasion.

As far as laws go, how long have we had laws against recreational narcotics in this country? Murder, rape, theft????

You are correct on one point, and that is nobody is worried about the the law abiding citizen...... until now. Because now the law abiding citizen is able to arm themselves, protect their home and family, walk the street at night with a fully loaded firearm and in many states, drive automobiles the same way. It's had an impact, just not a huge one yet. But in time when more people do protect themselves and bury a few of the losers, then the message will get out there to the criminal element that the law biding citizen is somebody to fear because the laws are on their side.

Get a grip.

Norway would be nothing without the capitalist drilling , pumping , and buying their crude .

Finland is a speck on the map , not that Norway is not.

You could compare these countries to Vermont which has very low crime and a certain degree of affluence and high taxation.

Who protects these countries ?

THE USA !

Sweden and Denmark are having major social problems with immigration that is creating havoc with their budgets and here in the terrible USA we have always had and integrated new comers because for most of our history we have had the jobs that capitalism created.

You like Denmark ?

100 percent taxation on cars ,they call it buy two get one.

I could go on and on about problems in these nations that won't show thru on your picture post card vision but tell me one thing ;

Have you been to Europe ?

The puppy then turns to drugs and gun violence because its a victim of society.
Funny.
However, what's not funny is that a Republican would either take out a gun and shoot it dead, or would force it to be homeless, which would still cause its death, but very, very slowly and painfully.
In the meantime, Republicans would bytch endlessly about having to step over the suffering animal, or complain that the public had to watch it die and demand that the government force it to die out of sight.

The predatory gun industry is the only unregulated manufacturer of a consumer product that is specifically made to kill, with a level of secrecy that makes the tobacco industry look like a model of transparency. The real story behind the steady rise in gun violence in America, argues is the systematic increase in lethality of guns by manufacturers. Over the last two decades the gun industry has dramatically increased the killing power of its products; designed and distributed guns with more ammunition and greater conceal-ability; and aggressively sought to build a wider market by collaborating with the "gun-media" and by targeting women and minorities as vital new consumers.

People are being bombarded with things to legitimately fear, as well as propaganda designed to promote paranoia.
Conservatives see their guns as a solution to government threats, while intelligent people know the solution is to stand up to government treason and bring it under control.
Moronic conservatives just don't get it that it only takes one conservative leader to turn a democracy into a police state, so their solution of less government is braindead.
They just insist on hiding behind their guns, as opposed to the bravery and patriotism of protesters against the Fed treason.

Save the millionaires:
The very rich are a lot like the rest of us when it comes to losing a job: They receive unemployment benefits, just the same as a millworker or office assistant.
What's startling about the trend is that the number of millionaires receiving unemployment benefits has skyrocketed, with nearly 3,200 households earning adjusted gross income of more than $1 million receiving jobless payments in 2011. That means the government shelled out $29.9 million in jobless benefits to million-dollar earners in 2011, according to Bloomberg, citing IRS data compiled by the media company.

Struck a nerve, did he? From what I understand, e.c. pays a butt load in taxes annually. That doesn't happen to people that lazily sit on their derrière. That happens to people that either bust their hump on a daily basis, or people who busted their hump in college to land a more lucrative less labor intensive job and or make wise investments.

Of course it's their own money and they do want it back. What's wrong with that?
The right knows darn well SS is nothing but a Ponzi scheme that will eventually have a nation of losers down the road. They forced us into this ridiculous program that pries money out of our pockets and our employers to fund a losing program that politicians have borrowed and stole from for years.
Had we been allowed to take the same SS contributions and handle it ourselves such as putting that money in a conservative growth fund, we would not only have more when we retire, but probably be able to retire early.
Many can't do that now so sure they want what was promised to them while they contributed to the no-growth fund all of their lives.
I appreciate your helping me prove how braindead conservatives are.
Most of Social Security is WELFARE - so I have to support you freeloaders.
If you had invested that money, you'd be where you deserve to be, living on the streets, begging me for money for drugs.
My god, you're a total idiot. YOU are the people who can't survive without the government taking care of you, and it was the parasites you morons elected who first started embezzling from Social Security.
There's just no end to what you leeches do to steal from everybody else, then lie about it.

Moron, there are so many needy because there are so many greedy.
Please define "needy".

Nobody goes hungry in the US-we have food stamps for that.
Nobody goes without shelter--we have homeless shelters and section 8.
Nobody goes without medical care--we have Medicaid and emergency rooms that MUST provide free services when necessary.
Nobody goes without cell service for Christ's sake!--we got free cell phones!
WTF are you thinking man?!

And let me ask you this: Are you one of the "needy" or the "greedy"? You have a computer and internet access. Why don't you sacrifice a little for the "needy" among us? Or are you too "greedy"?

I assume you're referring to the Federal Reserve?

"In his first term as President, Woodrow Wilson(a DEMOCRAT) persuaded a DEMOCRATIC Congress to pass major progressive reforms. Historian John M. Cooper argues that, in his first term, Wilson successfully pushed a legislative agenda that few presidents have equaled, remaining unmatched up until the New Deal.[1] This agenda included the >>>>>FEDERAL RESERVE ACT<<<<<<, Federal Trade Commission Act, the Clayton Antitrust Act, the Federal Farm Loan Act and an income tax."

Who is it that can't face reality?

Do you want to install this hardware?
When I click no, it kicks me off Topix. So, I have to find the page and start all over again.
Before this I must have gotten scores of Norton warnings blocking every post.
Norton is dangerous so I've gotten rid of their progam, but it didn't make any difference.
I think it was probably Norton security that was behind an email about one of my Works files.
That means Norton is monitoring computers for information.
This is really dangerous, and just a step away from keeping all of us, who post the truth about the Fed, off the internet completely.
They still can't openly cut access, so they try to harass people into giving up.
Keep posting warnings about Norton, etc. every day.
If you can't stand up to them here, you're truly a loser.
Wait a minute.
You don't really think you're on some kind of government watch list 'cause you've discovered the well concealed "TRUTH" behind the Federal Reserve do you? Ha Ha! Ummm--hate to break it to you, but pretty much every thinking adult knows all about the Federal reserve/central bank/fiat currency scam. Where have YOU been?

So here we have the rightwingnuz hypocrites spouting off about “murder by drones”, the latest flavor of rightwing talking-points, but had no qualms about sending hundreds of thousands of US and allied soldiers to facing their deaths in the ME. Drones have killed hundreds of terrorist leaders and at the same time saved thousands of US lives. Drones, as well as other robotics, offer huge advantages regarding the effectiveness of our military and human rights. On the military effectiveness side of the ledger, the logic of developments in weaponry that increase one’s own lethality—allowing targeting at the highly individualized level—while protecting one’s forces, may not persuade a pacifist, but it will move commanders, who have missions to accomplish, and who have a fundamental obligation to their own troops not to expose them to undue risk. The US military is not going to take a hands-off approach to states like Libya, Pakistan and Yemen, where law enforcement is not a feasible option. Drone warfare permits a highly calibrated military response to situations in which the alternative may involve not lesser but far greater uses of military violence – but then, you already know that!!
What’s more interesting is the left wing turds that complained about waterboarding are completely fine with drones killing with great collateral damage. The hypocrisy.
