I used to love Ron Howard and his films. Far and Away being one of my top favourites.
But to capitalize on the modern day attack on the Christian Faith and Our Lord Jesus Christ, at a most crucial time in our history, is work of an antichrist.
Ron Howard, may this movie crucify YOU and all who worked on this picture.
God will not be mocked.

Dear Mr. Howard:
I have always been a big fan of yours. I particularly enjoyed your work onscreen while I was growing up in the '60s and '70s. Your work directing since then has been mainly something to be proud of. My children loved the movie adaption of one of their favorite fictional characters, "Curious George", as well. I think you did a wonderful job capturing the nostalgia of the books and making a truly G-rated film.
I have to say that I am so disappointed that you turned your talent toward something so dark and disrespectful as "The DaVinci Code". To make a movie like that and then just call it entertainment is really oversimplifying the problem that this country has with Hollywood. Most people look at what comes out of Hollywood and have a difficult time distinguishing between fiction and reality. I am not a member of Opus Dei, however, I am a Catholic Christian and I believe that a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie would have been appropriate and would have assisted everyone in putting this movie into perspective. Opus Dei is a wonderful organization doing the work of God for ordinary lay people and is being portrayed so horribly in your movie. Portraying the Church as perpetuating some sort of horrible hoax on all Christians is so disrespectful to Jesus Christ that it truly is unforgivable to this particular fan that you would take this on as your project. Dan Brown made it clear that he has no respect for the Catholic Church, which began with Jesus Christ 2006 years ago. I hope that you do not share his disparagement. Whether you are Catholic or not, our country is based on the premise that all religions should be respected. This movie degrades my Church in a way that is really quite sad.
There are wonderful stories to be told and movies to be made. "The Passion of the Christ" should have taught Hollywood that millions of people are looking for truth in this world. I hope that your next project takes you back into a path that contributes something positive to America culture. I do have faith that somehow God will bring something good out of this, however, I also feel it is incumbent upon you to use your talents in a way that will enrich lives and bring some light back into this world.
My sincerest wishes for your health and happiness and may God fill your heart with love for truth.
Best Regards,
Regina Boguski

I'm still roman catholic.
What I think is that The Da Vinci Code is nothing more
than a thriller.
I still read Italian...
I still read hyroglyphes.
I still believe that while this ape knows that one
UNIVERSE in one dimension in one time-space continum
lasts 311040000000000 years of 360 days.
That that is the cosmos less than an atom in the fat toe of GOD.
I still remember that I was ever Francesco Melzi.
I still pray for a peacefull world.

Greetings
Rob

After viewing your "The Da Vinci Code" once again I am moved to thank you for your adaptation of Brown’s novel. Much more than the story line, your creation is truly a work of film art. I am sorry that some confuse the two.

Cree Native translates ancient stone as a Da Vinci treasure map
By ANGIE ZINCK
WESTERN SHORE N.S - You may have heard about the Da Vinci code, but the Ranville code could be what solves the longest-running treasure hunt in recorded history. Keith Ranville, a First Nations man, has travelled from Winnipeg to Nova Scotia in hopes of unlocking the secret codes on Oak Island. He says he has done so by re-translating one of the stones found on the island over 200 years ago.
