<quoted text>why do you want to bring metallica. they are sell outs. and now they want to go back the heavy metal. too much head banging ruined your mind, uncle rico.
Only because I know Lars Ulrich from years back when they were true rockers in the 80's. I've been wanting to see them again now that we're older. My mind isn't ruined, I'll bang my head till the day I die, what is wrong with Heavy Metal? I like alternative and pop music too, don't blame me cause I've partied with some of the best heavy metal bands of all time and will always stay true the genre.

Yea, he used to be a musician. Now he's just another greedy "artist" waiting to sue some kid for listening to his garbage.

I agree with that, its like how much money is too much money, but I still like to rock even though I'm in my ahmmmmmmmmmmmm not 20's or 30's anymore. When I go to a concert no matter what genre (except country) I appreciate the art and live music touches my soul.

Metallica isn't the only band who has stopped a lot of their music from download sites, Have you ever tried to find a Heart song?

I just grew up in the concert scene and was very fortunate as a young lady to meet a lot of rock groups and I will stand true rock.

I know that big groups would never come to carlsbad, I just wish that Guy would try and bring music for different tastes.

A nice symphony at Christmas time or perhaps even a dance troupe?

Plus Lars in his younger days was rather cute :)

Yes, quit expecting anything special in this town, you should move to another town.
Sorry, I'm just a Jewish bitch and wishing for more in this town!
This town used to be great in the past, BUT, not anymore! This town is a BIG JOKE!!!
Yeah, to me it was great from 86 to 90, partying with the HUGE house parties and the river parties. Now, it all sucks here....ugh! Too many people have died, and who was left, many have moved out of this hell hole.

Asleep at the Wheel is a great band. Ray Benson is
unique with his own blend of music..
taking the best from blues, folk, county and swingÂ…
broaden your horizonsÂ….

You guys are nuts, Asleep at the Wheel is great entertainment! This is REAL country music with really talented artists.
Remember when they did "Roly Poly" with the Dixie Chicks? Or "Big Balls in Cow Town" with George Strait?

ahhhh No, but in all fairness, I'm sure for some this is great entertainment, but for others, their music tastes are different. I'm tired of having to go to El Paso, Las Cruces, and Phoenix to see a concert.

I would love to see groups like Hinder and Nickleback preform here. Evanescence would totally rock.. Maybe Seether or Blue October.
But I wouldn't object to Patty Loveless, Suzy Bogguss, Pam Tillis, Collin Raye, Vince Gill, Terri Clark, Kathy Mattea.. These were all GREAT music artests of their time that would be great to see. If we have to get country acts.. Lets get some good ones.
