There are some excellent Christian metal bands out there! The message is what matters and how it is presented- I saw nothing dishonorable to the cause of Christ there... Which is why there will never be 'c-h-p'.
'All- Consuming Fire -- burn!'--I caught that much... I wish I could understand the rest of the lyrics, that would be my only complaint. And that poor fellow will probably harm his voice with the screaming. YIKES!

It's ok, khp33... I'm sure I'd go nuts after the 2nd or 3rd song if the whole cd was like this. I'm one of those strange people who likes everything from classic Beethoven, to rock, jazz, country, heavy metal, techno pop, hymms... as long as it's got a positive message, I'll listen as long as I can.

I'm feeling harshly judged for making a playful comment. Was that intentional or do you always judge others so harshly?

FYI, my kids listen to this kind of music all the time, too, but they NEVER hear the lyrics. They just like the music.

But, I bet if you heard this music playing from your neighbor's house you most likely wouldn't hear the lyrics, either. In fact, I bet MOST middle aged "Christians" would hear it as "devil music."

I'm impressed that Christian hardcore metal can make such an impression out there with you "old folks."

FYI, I have heard this music played in myown home. As a parent I wanted to know what the lyrics were so I read them. My kid seems to understand the lyrics as they are being sung(or screamed) I don't understand how but I figure I would rather him listen to War of Ages then some Rap music that clearly talks about violence, sex and or drugs. Just a playful comment

Anger? Seriously? I'm sorry you're "sensing anger," but I have no control over what you inject between the lines. I can assure you, there is no anger on my part whatsoever. If you're sensing anger, then I'm afraid you own it, LCR, not me. Likewise, I can assure you I don't sense any anger from you, either. You might want to get in touch with your own feelings instead of insinuating that the anger YOU are "sensing" is coming me.
