Huff is in my good book now. I was so frustrated with the explosion of content on Huff (it's addictive) and I'm happy to see them moving in this direction. Bravo! let's hope those newspaper conglomerates follow suit.

What would happen to the audiences of newspapers if they became nonpartisan? Would it change anything? I have no idea.

I've been reading so many stories about the death of the newspaper and investigative journalism; this is one bright spot. I wonder if any right-wing organizations will follow suit.

Well, in many countries the press itself is highly partisan; the readership just chooses papers to bolster their own opinions. |

Interesting direction that newspapers are taking; maybe this whole nonprofit approach will work.

Maybe if people could beleive in journalists. like, whatever happened to the Woodwards and the Bernsteins???? Please. Bush got nothing but a free pass from the journalist sector. Where has all the money gone, that's a good investigation to start. Why are we suffering from an economic meltdown unheard of in modern times? Unprecedented. How did all the money get sucked out all at once? You journalists should help the public know the truth about these questions.

I'm glad that someone is taking some initiative to help laid-off journalists, but I don't know that I could call the Huffington Post non-partisan. That's exactly why people like the Huffington Post because it is partisan.

The reason all the left wing media is in trouble is because they are so partisan. Its not journalism...its propaganda. I have Huffington's book she is so Left wing that I wouldn't buy anything she says. If there was such a Newspaper that was bipartisan...it would be the most successful. People want the truth...which is at a premium these days. |

I think the media is treasonous. They have betrayed the peoples trust and are now owned and operated by the GE's and Murdoch's of the world...all sit in Obama's pocket. Think you are going to get any real journalism there? |

We could use a legitimate, nonpartisan, investigative news source. Lets see some muckracking. I want a journalist who will put it on the line to expose corruption.

Madoff, The money missing from AIG and all the other banks. George Bush, Dick Cheney. The election of 2004. The Iraq War. Manipulation of oil. What's the "New World Order"? What's really happening on Wall Street? |
