"The "lesbian" attack on Tsai may be seen against the backgrounds of similar attacks on President Ma for being gay in the 2008 election, attacks which did no credit to their promoters."

Hhmmm... Lesbian VS Gay?

In the other hand Shih Ming-te has every right to ask a question to somebody who may become president.

If Tsai will answer bravely then she would be seen as a leader with the guts to be president.

If she evades the question then even Janet Reno will not vote for her!

"The instant reach for DPP-led conspiracy sheds light on the KMT reaction to the assassination attempt on Chen Shui-bian by a disgruntled Blue supporter. It seems a handy response to anything that places the KMT in a bad light."

Ye are right bro! the fact that the alleged Abian wannabe assassin was found floating stiff in an Anan lagoon and zipply declared to be suicide by police and ... the subsequent quick cremation of the body without family consultation makes the DPP and you look darn good!

"Feelin' that chill? Yes, it's the apparent use of government organs to chill free speech in Taiwan by "investigating" people who speak in a way the government doesn't like. Scary. Hope the public is paying attention. "

The family of Chen Yi Hsiung (deceased) certainly felt the chill bro!

And I bet you too felt it when you refused to make the facts apear in your blog.

Happy biking!

Many so-called freedom of speech advocate Yank bloggers in Taiwan also used the same censor tactics to voices not in parallel with their sponsors.

They are therefore as guilty in chillin free speech.

I hope they don't influence their students in Taichung that way.

Hope their students are paying attention.
