It's about time that a light rail system is being seriously considered. I have lived in the Washington, D.C. area and it was wonderful to just hope on the metro. Dallas now has the Dart system and it wasn't without controversy either. But their being used everyday. We have to consider it. We are living in such economic hardships. People are losing their cars, homes because they've lost their jobs and gas is going up. Think about it, if there are stops in San Marcos and Austin our college age children can attend their respective universities. Once again, all I can say is "it's about time" we're doing this.

It would be good if we had a transportation system as good as the Europeans had in the last century. We are behind much of the world on so many issues.

Once you get to your destination via the rail system, you can depend on AAA Cab to take you the rest of the way!
