Oh boo hoo for the hactivist. He got exactly what he deserved. People don't want to be spied on by the govt. or by some lunatic activist which is why the latest excuse is so laughable. If they think their 'job' is to protect the people from govt. they need to be a little less obvious. They are a liberal fanatical group who WANTS big govt. to grow. This is just a ruse or perhaps an attempt to desensitize society on their expectation of privacy. These are the same kooks behind all the 'Operation' protests. The same people who want handouts at the expense of those who actually work for their paychecks.

What reason would this group have to think authorities were not going to act on this crime? Sounds more like there was some rabid nutjob who had it out for Stuebenville and anything associated with the town. A girl was blacked out drunk and she was humiliated. It was wrong and the boys were punished.

I am still wondering about why no one tried to find Jane Doe since she didn't return home with her friend. Where were the parents? Didn't they expect both to come home? If they didn't know they were having a house guest, then was it Jane Doe's intent to spend the night at this boy's house? If this were the case,it seems likely there was intent to have sex. The boys humiliated her instead in an act of slut-shaming which is very wrong.

RepeAting the same lies over and over does not make them true.
