Whatever happened to responsible journalism? I've seen plenty of cases where news go awry and everything is thrown in a big bad soup of media frenzy for the sake of who gets to publish the breaking news first. Well, at least they've got it right, as in, it 'breaks' the morale of those who were wrongfully judged due to misinformation online. It's too late to stop the wildfire from spreading further damages in this Ohio rape case. I've just seen someone proposing on eQuibbly to have tougher laws on social media use where sensitive crimes like rape is concerned. Really? That's like chasing your own shadow.. and you can't simply stop people from posting their opinions online. I say this, stop reporting these crimes and people won't talk about it. Simple.
