MGM looks to cash in on vintage TV shows

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. has found an economical solution for cash-strapped TV stations looking to fill their digital space: "Beach Blanket Bingo." About eight months ago, the movie studio created a low-cost programming service for television stations called This TV.

The bottom line is, digital is killing off, free TV.

Digital TV is saving free TV. I gives more channels, TV guide and great picture the same as pay TV. All it cost is a one time purchase of a good antenna.

Would it be asking too much for the SS to include one freakin line stating whether any =local= stations are offering this (over the air on their alternate chanels)?

I know this was taken "off the wire", but at least localize it.

I just did a internet search, and didn't see a station in South Florida. The only way to check, is to scan thru the channels using an antenna.
