I agree with Mar and Uncle Willie. Anne, Please don't retire just yet. When you hinted on your album "I'll Be Seeing You" that that was your last album, then you come out with Duets Friends & Legends we knew that you still had it within you to keep going even if it was an all womens duets. You said once that "As long as I still have a voice and can sing and as long as people are still wailling to listen to me sing, I will continue to sing."
We know you are ready for living the rest of your life freely and carefree, not that you already are living it that way. Thats a wonderful thing. We as your fans love you and we have seen and heard the very best of you. Now is a great time to give it one last push and give it all of your might and let us show you just how much we do and have appreciated you as you have shown us how much you appreciate us.
We love you Anne. Retiring or not.
