What do you expect from SNL? They call it show biz? That's what America is coming to. A generation of no brain actors and writers. Bring back the 50 and 60 shows. America needs a break.

It was a lousy show. Not because Gov. Palin was on last night. It was just a lousy show. From beginning to end. Terrible actors. Stupid skits. Worn out dialog. Now I remember why I stopped watching this show many years ago.

It's way past time to push the cancel button.

It is way too political. I did not like the way they have handled politicians for a while (dems included). The show jumped the shark a long long time ago.

I didn't see last nights show , but have seen a few SNL's in recent years.

SAD :(

Most of the skits are just flat, you aren't even sure they are comedy skits, even the studio audience doesn't laugh at the jokes sometimes.

The show has loooooooong since run its course

Check out Mad TV - its funnier than SNL. SNL can't come close to the way it was when all the old-time commedians like Bill Murray were on. They all went on to bigger & better things.

NEXT Show -- they should ask Palin about ties to secessionists! The Alaskan Independence Party got a candidate elected Governor in 1990. In 1994 Todd Palin joined. BOTH Palins attended the AIP's convention in their hometown, WASILLA, in 1994, where the AIP called for a re-vote on statehood and a draft constitution for an independent Republic of Alaska. She then ran for city council !!
In 1994 Iran helped the AIP go to the United Nations, but the AIP President Joe Vogler was murdered shortly beforehand. Was Wasilla convention the staging ground for insurrection, or a government cover-up? Why did Palin enter politics in 1994?

For your reading enjoyment, and to notice... Someone on wikipedia tried to coverup the reason for this murder.

Palin was a footnote saturday.

Could have done the whole show with her in the closet.

Too bad the rest of America disagrees with you. The show is funny. It has always had good and bad moments. C'mon it's comedy, it doesn't make everyone laugh every time. I watch it every Saturday for a few minutes to end my week on an up note.
Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin is one of the funniest things they have put on in a great while. The parody of the interview with Katie Couric used transcripts. They didn't have to write anything and it was very funny.
They made fun of Joe Biden too, get over yourselves, it is funny. Laughter makes it all go down easier. Considering all the real B.S. we have to listen to it's nice when the B.S. is meant to be laughed at.

how did Wikipedia try to cover up a murder?
here is the parties link in Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaskan_Independ...

Once there you can click on Voglers name and you get his bio. Including the details behind his murder.

too many tears have been shed at what the GOP has done to America.

Obama's election will bring tears of joy and relief.

Then it will be time to do some work. Not the kind of work the Republicans do. They spend all their time making up lies about the Democrats to take attention away from the damage the GOP is doing.

It is not going to be easy. Maybe that is what the GOP is afraid of. Americans working together, like they have done in the past to win a war. This is a war to bring America to all Americans. Not just the chosen few. You can go on with all your tired rhetoric about a welfare state. That is what you Republicans have created. The rest of America wants the opportunity to achieve success, through hard work and fair opportunity. Not oppression by the upper class, privatizing the wealth and socializing the risk.

Enough is enough.

click on the links you have provided, then click on mine.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But your link goes to New York Times, no article.
Your link to Wiki, incomplete spelling gets you nothing.
Third link to New York Times blank page with some advertising and where the article should be, nothing, blank page.

I am always interested in information, but I need information to go forward. Not just opinions with no reference.

Vogler looked for a sponsor in order to speak before the U.N. General Assembly on Alaska independence. Iran was more than happy to oblige.

Weeks before he was to fly to New York City, friends found his cabin empty on Memorial Day, 1993.

Sorry, I was off by a year on his murder date - but all of this is tied together, regardless..

"diane", i imagine you and your ilk are the kinds of folks who can't stand the very same tactics YOU are using against sen. obama....how sad....look, this thread is about snl and sarah palin.....my view, she was quit good and she seemd to be treated as well as expected.....and by that i mean, it would have been GREAT if ms. fey (sp?) would have been gracious enough to shake her GUESTS hand....however, lorne michaels, the kid who did update AND EVEN alec baldwin did appear gracious....a very nice surprise!......
