If so, Biden is not fit to be VP. Biden publicly stated he was a "lazy student" at the Univ. Delaware and he ranked 76th out of of 85 students at Syracuse. So, VP candidate Biden was a poor student and did not attend an Ivy league school.

Obama was not at the top of his class. And, he will not release his school records at Columbia or high school.

I'm sure if Obama was a stellar student at at HS and Columbia he would release those records.
So the presumption is that he was at best a mediocre student. You can take it another step and say he got into Harvard thanks to affirmative action.

What's with the passport obsession? Big deal. She's a governor not a U.S. diplomat.

And she simply pointed out that she has experience dealing with the U.S. military since there is a large military base in Alaska because it borders Russia. All silly stuff.

Interestingly, McCain ranked 894th in his class of 899 at Annopolis.

I drive by a large military base on my way to work – in your world, this probably qualifies as “extensive military experience”

I know many book smart people that are naive idiots. I dont pay too much to grade. Yes they are a good indication, however experience and street smart is way more important.

I totally agree with you here--. Unfortunately, I have not seen signs of either experience or street smarts in Palin.
I have, however, seen that she's installed many of her high school cronies in high government positions in AK; she spent $45,000 of the state's money to remodel her office; and she believes that a gas pipeline she wants to have built across Canadian land is "God's will."

You're so right on that street-smart thing. It really worked quite well with the Cheney-Rumsfeld combination. Let's try someone with street-smarts and good judgment for a change. With this choice for VP - McCain has pretty well demonstrated he does not have good judgment.
