Bottom line, Palin is a Moron! She know nothing about Foreign policy, she is clearly not qualified to be 2nd in command. I am a Republican, but the thoughts of her being a heartbeat from the oval office for a 72 year old man is beyond terrifiying. Like his politics or not, Obama is a brilliant person, which is typical of the caliber of other world leaders. Given these terrible economic times, only a brilliant leader has any shot of turning this around. I hope both dems and Republicans like myself can all realize this. This election is not about playing politics, it is about doing what is right for this country, and if you truly believe in country first, you will put politics aside and vote for what is clearly the only hope we have to put america back in the right direction, please republicans, vote for Obama!!

The SNL skit was poor. I'm a liberal Obama guy and even I thought last night's skit was terrible.

If Palin isnt qualified to be VP it only reiterates the fact Obama is even less qualified to be President.
Palin actually GOVERNED something, even if you think she fouled up the job. Obama was a community organizer in the most corrupt state in the Union and didnt do anything at all. Name a SINGLE accomplishment of his! He voted Present 148 times and served less than 200 days as a Senator. All hes done is run for President.

You know you love her dumb explanation for her foreign policy experience. Which she said she has b/c Alaska is next to Russia and Canada. Which is dumb since the USAF takes of the US air space which monitors the area not a GOVENER. As for Canada he don't even poss a threat to the US. The way she explains foreign policy experience then all the Governors of states that's next to Mexico and Canada has foreign policy experience.

There's no guesswork as to how the people at SNL will be voting. That skit and the one later with the debate were both god awful.

BUT Obama has one qualification that Palin doesnt, one qualification that the Obama slamming crowd somehow wants to overlook, and that being Obama got millions of votes from people who decided he was qualified to be president............Whereas Palin got ONE single vote from ONE single person who thought she was qualified........

Celebrity impersonations were never something Tina Fey did much of when she was a regular SNL member. She was mostly a writer. I'd give her more of a chance, especially since she has four more years to perfect her Palin impersonation....

And to be fair, Darrell Hammond later did a Clinton impersonation, making fun of how the former president doesn't seem to support Obama. It was hilarious! Hammond is exceptional in his impersonations, and the sketch was so funny that even he almost lost it for a second while Seth Meyers was laughing hysterically beside him!

I didn't see the SNL skit, just a clip, but I do have a question. Did Amy look as confused by the answers as Katie clearly was?

caribou barbie might be easy on the eyes for some but she is definitely bad for the digestion.

caribou lady / miss congeniality should give us the "world peace" (standard line for every pegeant runner up) and drop out as soon as possible.

yes, both face expressions (katie`s and amy`s)were priceless.

but to be honest - katie`s face was really hilarious - i mean, katie is a qualified anchor woman, and shs must have had it really difficult to keep her face straight, honestly - everone non professional would just have snort with laughter - don`t you think?

Umm, actually, while Palin’s remark was intended to be flippant, there is some truth to the notion that living next to Russia gives her some foreign policy/ national security credentials.
See, as the governor of our only state which borders an adversary country, Ms. Palin was charged with overseeing our first line of national defense: The Alaskan National Guard, as well as overseeing and securing our missile defense systems stationed up there.
That’s nothing to sneeze at. That’s some pretty serious responsibility. And she did it all with a baby on her hip!
Now, contrast Palin’s experience with Obama’s…
Meanwhile, Obama was a community organizer –whatever that is- who spent a lot of tax dollars while reaping little in the way of results. Then he was a State senator in the most corrupt and bankrupt state in the nation voting “present” 99% of the time. He failed to clean it up.(Who knows if he even tried? There’s no evidence that he did.) Oh, and he’s been a U.S. senator for about 143 days, not counting the time he’s spent on the campaign trail, during which time he accomplished nothing of significance. He’s been sucking public tax dollars his entire professional career with little to show for it.
On experience Palin beats Obama hands down. And she’s not even on the top of her party’s ticket!
I know small-minded, hate-filled Liberal Democrats will dismiss this notion. Such angry blind partisans care not about the truth.
Man what are you Conservative Right Wing Republican smoking? The way you put it then all of the Governors of states next to Mexico has even GREATER Experience than Palin. Due the simple fact they have to deal day in and day out with Mexican Drug Lord Government. They have more stress and skills b/c they have to deal with Mexican Gov. 24/7 whom support Illegal Immigrants invading the country. Then there is constant board shootings due to Drug Cartels smuggling drugs in and shooting at Border officials and State Officials. Another thing is every time the governors crack down hard on these Illegal Wet_BacK Hispanic Cockroaches the Mexican Gov files a lawsuits against them and try to turn the World Court against them. Just like how that Illegal Cockroach Hispanic Mexican came in to Tx Illegally and killed 2 US Citizens and he was sentence to Death. Mexican Gov file lawsuit in world court to stop it, even the Right Wing Moron George Walker Bush aka Lame Duck Moron, try to stop the execution of this Illegal Hispanic Cockroach from Mexico.

So if you want talk about just Palin is gov next to Russian means she has foreign policy experience then you are smoking something crack. B/c these Governors next to Mexico deal with more Foreign Policy than Palain has in her life.
