There is hate on both sides, there is no denying that. People can't see what a mess the government has made. Keep voting on that two party system, wow what a choice we have. This country has become a joke.

No, he was out for Colin Powell. He was set up by the Bush administration and was looking for revenge.
He was also looking for a job in Obama's cabinet.
He was secretly stifled and ridiculed in Bush's cabinet. Powell is a good person, an intellectually gifted American patriot who can see the big picture, who was sacrificed by Carl Rove and company with Bush's blessings in order to accomplish their misguided agenda and enrich their buddies.

I, for one, would love to see Powell take a leadership position in Obama's government.

Powell is an example of professional integrity at its best. Bush can't say or spell the word.

Why do you think a gazillion Americans sent small donations to the Obama campaign? It all they could afford, but they knew they couldn't afford not to. The republican machine is killing our country, and there is going to be a backlash against that party unknown in modern times.

I hope the democrats can rise to the occasion and not let politics as usual resurface.

Gazillion? There are many folks out there, probably a 3/4 gazillion, who get there "news" from Entertainment Tonight and People Magazine. Scary.

"I like Obama, I like his message".

What are his votes about?

A question and a statement. Both remain unanswered but echoed through the heads of liberals.

Very cute comeback though. I wouldn't dream of underestimating Americans. I worry that I have overestimated the intelligence of liberals.

I'd like to see Sean Penn, Matt Damon, Pamela Anderson and Oprah etc spread their wealth under a new tax plan. But that won't happen if their candidate wins. Why else do you think they so vehemently support Obama. They are protecting themselves by doing so.

They scream about injustice and the poor. Well give up some of your money you liberal elites and get off the backs of the middle class or we won't go to another one of your movies, or buy your magazines or attend or watch any of your shows or buy your videos.

These celebrities, producers and movie studios have all forgotten who gave them all their start. Yes the middle class. Now they are global. Stars have morphed into politicalwhores. Let Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, Kenya and South Korea pay their salaries cause the Americans who made them famous are not happy with that being shoved back in their face.

This goes for any movie star, musician, comedienne, producer, movie studio and anyone else in the entertainment industry who thinks their star status qualifies them to give political direction to the voters.

We got your number.

How do you like them apples?

America's democracy is in danger of going down the drain.

In N.Y., Mayor Bloomberg was voted to be elgible to run for a third term by a 29 to 22 vote by Council members.

This was done despite New Yorkers voting twice against the extension of term limits. It didn't matter to the Council members or Bloomberg. 29 Council members decided what is best for 8 million people.

The only reason Bloomberg want to stay Mayor is to look after his Wall street buddies and cronies
who are not doing so well. Bloomberg will not have the best interest of N.Y.City. He will only be interested in finding jobs for his unemployed pals from Wall street.

Bloomberg feel he should stay in office due to the financial crisis but argued and fought against the samething when Guiliani tried to have his term extended during 9/11.

Bush may try to do the same if the financial crisis continues or if the conflict in the middleast escalates.

Bush signed DIRECTIVE-51 in 2007 which was not covered by the MSM. DIRECTIVE-51 gives Bush dictatorial powers. This means Bush can stay our president if he wants to.He can invoke DIRECTIVE-51 if an emergency situation calls for it or at any given time without your vote or any oversight by Congress. Amazing.

In other words, Nov.4 election or no election Bush can still be your president Jan.20,2009.

The way things are going now for the Repubs, I would not be surprised if some kind of "emergency" rise up from the dead for Bush,Republicans and McCain to pull this get out of jail card called DIRECTIVE-51.

If this is done it will be a big slap in the face of democracy, the constitution and 300 plus million Americans.

If there is an October,November, December or January surprise, DIRECTIVE-51 is it.

DIRECTIVE-51 is a clear violation of constitutional separation of powers and there should be angry protests from our legislators and the American public about this anti-American garbage that came from President Bush.

The sad thing is that much of Tina Fey's dialogue during the SNL skit consisted simply of repeating what Palin actually said during her CBS interview.
Do you really think she got to pick her lines for SNL? Not. The other candidates looked just as stupid when they appeared before.
