I was recently ill, and decided to use a vaporizer to add moisture to my room at night. I filled the container with filtered water, and within a week, I noticed that there was a thick white film on my black fan. I realize that I probably should have used distilled water, but what am I drinking? Does anyone know? I grew up on good COLD Lake Michigan water from the tap. This stuff is ....what? The filter was new.
It's called mold, dummy! I don't think they have quite the humidity in Michigan that we have here.

Now the Boca Raton morons will have one less thing to whine about. I watched a nutjob send back bottled water because it wasn't "fresh" enough. Idiots. I worked for a bottled water company, and all they did was filter it and ship it out- at ten times what you'd pay for home tap water. Even the worst tap water in America is better than the best tap water in Mexico- so quit your whining, babies.

But what is the real cost to all of us of bottled water?? In Maine and Michigan, as well as other states, the cost of legal expenses needs to be added in with road destruction, CO2 emissions, waste, and other things we probably don't even know will happen in the future.. Check out the essay "Who Owns Maine's Water - Nestle or the People?" if you want to get the scoop from Maine... It's posted at http://onthecommons.org/node/1118
