For worst movie of the year, we are blessed with an overabundance from which to choose. Still one stands out as most excreble. My number one is "Killer Joe".

Hard to argue, though must admit these discussions are kinda like "Greatest Boxer Ever" in that they try to convert subjectivity to objectivity.

At least guys like you and me don't pretend to have some superior qualification which renders our views meaningful.
Killer Joe did kinda eat it, though innit?

Horrible.....in this day and age I don't know a movie as bad as this.... it actually turns men off to sex.

I go all the time, and there are plenty of good ones out there.
But I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything: When I go, there are no lines, no audience contributions,no kids (!!!) and the pick of the best seats in the house.
But, "Big Picture"-wise agree that most films aren't worth a 900pm HBO showing...

I think we're all qualified to express our views, whether or not they are shared by "experts". Critiquing a movie simply requires one's opinions. I don't believe there is any such thing as objectivity when reviewing a movie.
All the above is polite and fair-minded, but I don't really believe a word of it! Damn the torpedoes! Anyone who liked Killer Joe lacks higher brain function!

My husband and I curled up by the fire and watched Lincoln the other night.

Very good movie.

Your movie theater has a fireplace? Or are you referring to the innumerable Lincoln movies dotting Hollywood's historical map?

The fireplace was in my home and I'm referring to Steven Spielberg's Lincoln.

Well I just paused Skyfall to say I'm half way through and not really all that impressed.

I think Daniel Craig is the least amusing and least interesting James Bond ever. I want martinis, and instead I get beer.
