I had Denise Jackson's book read in one day. I really enjoyed it. I cried in parts and it really touched me. I thought alot at what she had to say. IT is true God needs to come first and you have to have him in your life. I lost my dad of an aneryism very sudden and he will be gone 5 years Dec. 2nd. there is not a day that goes by that I do not think about him. I would love to sit down and meet Denise and Alan someday. Your book was wonderful.

I read the book in less than a day. My husband is alos almost reading it. It touched me deeply. I feel that when God put it on her heart to write that book, he had me in mind, knowing it would lift me up. I think Alan and Denise Jackson are going to have a special place in heaven for allowing God to be number one in their lives and for sharing it with so many others. Also, I noticed that one of the devotionals mentioned in her book is the same one I've been doing myself. Just another word from God that he knows all.

I loved Denise's book. It was so good. I could feel her pain in some parts of the book. I have told everyone I know to read. Thanks Denise for telling your story.

All these years listening to Alan Jackson's songs, I thought the lyrics were about Denise leaving him. It's funny to read her book and realize that Alan's words oftentimes are actually her words to him. I now wonder who inspired Alan to be on the other side of goodbye, or who was leaving him in "Gone Crazy," because it doesn't sound like it was Denise. Also, it is a natural response to feel needy and insecure when your partner is not emotionally committed in the marriage. That is how any normal woman would feel given the absence of a husband's attention and love. I do admire Alan, however- most men would not turn it all around like he seems to have done. I went to his concert and he had a lot of pictures of him and Denise, dancing together, and that was beautiful.

Denise, I have yet to read yourr book, but I have heard alot about it and I am anxious to find it and read it. I married when I was 16, we met when I was 14, it has been a long road, and at times, it just seemed easier to give up, rather than try harder, but we have made it through and our love is better than anyone could ever imagine, I look forward to reading a book that sounds a lot like the life I hae traveled.

Alan Jackson Should Be Blessed To Have Such A Loving Wife. I'm Surprised He Doesn't Have Any Kids Because They Should Be Blessed To Have A Great Daddy.

I just finished reading "It's All About Him". It's wonderful and assuring to read about the realtionship and intimacy with Jesus this couple share. I admire Denise and Alan for exposing their private lives to reveal His restoration and forgiveness that occurred in their marriage. Marriage is beautiful and have learned that with God at the forefront, it will never end. Congratulations to Denise for her success and appreciation for all the blessings God has bestowed upon their lives and for giving back to God all the glory.

I have just finished reading Denise's book. I had heard that Alan had an affair with Faith Hill. I admire that Denise didn't name names and handled the whole adultery issue in her book in a very mature way. My best wishes to the whole Jackson family. If more marriages put God first, the divorce rate would go way down.

I saw it in a Sam's Club, but it was kind of $$ in hardback. I wouldn't mind reading it.
They are an amazing couple/family. His family Christmas Shows with his wife and daughters x 3
were always uplifting.

When it said all about him, I thought it meant Alan. I found out that they give all the glory and praise to the great "I Am"...the "He"...

I am now reading this book for the 3rd time. I keep finding new slivers of encouragement every time. This book is well written with beautiful scriptures that apply to situations as well as song lyrics from many of Alan's songs that I now know the story behind. Denise nevers talks bad about Alan and degrades him. She focuses on what she was feeling and experiencing, and she shares about the inner changes that she went through. It takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice to stay married. Congratulations to Alan and Denise who made that decision to work at it together for themselves and their children. I sincerely believe that, as Alan says in the book, his girls don't need to worry. "Fifty years from now,......your mama and I will still be together." I am going to return my copy to the library and buy my own so that I can highlight all the good parts when I read it the next time.

Their former neighbor, Amy Grant, chose to divorce her husband. I saw her sitting by Denise Jackson after Amy had divorced to marry Vince Gill. I wondered what Denise thought about that, but being a lady, she just focused on her husband. She appeared to be a true lady about it all.

Your comment comparing Denise to Amy is ridiculous. You didn't live in either of their situations so you shouldn't play sofa social worker. All anyone can do in these situations is to be true to your own faith. That doesn't mean that the spouse will be as well.

I was born and raised in Newnan, Ga. and know a lot of the people in Denise's book. Their first house, the onethat was moved from Unity Baptist Church was the house where I was born. Would love to see a picture of it.
