<quoted text>I wouldn't start counting the chickens yet.......the media influences the easily manipulated and they will vote for the socialist scum, obama ......again. Heck a large number of them are voting just because he's black. Others are illegals and know obama is not only going to grant them amnesty.....he will educate, feed and clothe the illegal's brats. The young follow Hollywood figures around as if they were gods/goddesses which means they will vote for whomever they say. After all, these followers mimc their hairstyles, tattoos, purses, boots, you name it. Most of the young worship and glorify these libs so don't expect them to come to their senses on voting day. I'm not sure if Romney has much of a chance when you have the media promoting him day in and day out. People just have to hope obama falls in some bottomless sinkhole while golfing in Florida.
On the other hand it's possible that Obama may lose on purpose to reduce the risk of being impeached if he wins. Benghazi borders on treason on Obama's part. He gave help and aid to the enemy by making up that angry crowd story. That's a pretty serious thing. Not so far fetched though just a hypothesis on my part. Stranger things.

I met Senator Dole at the World War Two memorial and have always been sorry I didn't vote for him. He is a true gentleman and took the time to talk to my dad who is also a WW2 vet. Today he would probably be considered a moderate or liberal.
I was too young to vote but I remember the media assassinated Bob Dole's character too. They made fun of his handicap. The media today is no different. You should know by now. The smart American does not follow the corrupt media. I too have been mislead by the media for years, and am angered by it.

Regardless, I see that Barack is Bush on spending and economic policies. We had 8 years of Bush, and 4 years of Barack.

Romney is the underdog, and I've looked at his record of successes. There is no doubt only Romney now can save America from its desolate state.

Bush was at a school in Florida speaking to students when the 9/11 attacks happened .
- the difference -
Obama went to Vegas to fund raise after our Ambassador was murdered from a terrorist attack ! That he lied to the American people about !
And it's amazing that so many people aren't shivering in their shoes about that.

Let the fool make a movie, get paid a cool couple mill for it and then Obama takes 2/3 of it to give to people who also act. Act like they can't support themselves. He would become a conservative overnight.
It's far more profitable to cater to their market.....democrats.(Young, govt. reliant, gullible, unmotivated, lazy, idealists, angry loners, etc.) The larger this market grows, the richer Hollywood becomes. There is a reason Hollywood supports democrats. If independent thinking hardworking republicans became the majority, there would be very few who would sit in front of their TV sets, few pining over the gossip rags, and no one would care how Kim Kardashian shaves her pooter.

Why should soldiers get preferential treatment?, I'm against it here in the UK and I'd be against it in the US too, this attempt to turn troops into saints makes me puke. The dumb fcuks are not fighting to defend my country, their wars overseas just make us legitimate targets for Muslim terrorists. Can't you see that. there's groups in the UK arguing that returning troops should be put at the top of all our lists for housing, jobs etc etc, I say fcuk that, they chose to fight this dumb war, they weren't drafted .

well our values may differ. Personally I support the troops even if I'm against the mission. Military service is a necesary and admirable vocation. And once you're in you don't get to choose the battles. They deserve every respect, gratitude, admiration etceterra. So go clean the puke off your shoes and stfu!

We like to use the soldiers to garner a favorable opinion of ourselves.....But if you want to know what we REALLY think of soldiers and veterans look no further than our efforts to cut benefits for veterans.

We consider people such as;

Donald Trump

Ted Nugent

Sean Hannity

Paris Hilton

Leona Helmsley (R.I.P.)

to be worthy of our support.

Average and ordinary Americans.....not so much!!

"doesn't sound much of an optimistic note whatever the outcome in November."

Same thing I have been saying. Welcome in the new boss, same as the old boss.

No matter who is "selected" by the electoral college, it will not matter. There is no difference between Romney and Obama.

They bicker and argue through ads and campaign speeches. It is like watching a bad episode of pro wrestling. On camera they hate one another, but, behind the scenes it is all business that line their pockets and we the people have to pay for it.

Elections have consequence Kahoki.
Many things are tied to which party is in power. They have very different views of the way things should be.

They portray different view points to keep people in this mind set of D versus R. But behind the scenes, it is a different story. It is all about business and making money.

For instance, look at the insider trading going through all of Washington.

Nancy Pelosi-D working credit card fee legislation while buying into a new Visa IPO.

Harry Reid-D working legislation for millions of dollars on a train bridge in AZ through the land that he owned. Then getting the county to change the zoning laws of his land in order to sell it off making $1.1M in cash.

Judd Gregg-R got legislation through for his district to change an Air Force Base into a business park that he was invested and his brother's building company was building. Coincidently, Mr Gregg is now a senior advisor at Goldman Sacks.

And we can keep going and going.........

They are all a bunch of crooks that steal the peoples money to line their pockets while publicly bashing one another over ideologies. It is a bad episode of the WWE.
