Climategate e-mails sweep America, may scuttle Barack Obamaa s Cap and Trade laws

Nov 28, 2009 Full story: blogs.telegraph.co.uk 323

Just a few considerations in addition to previous remarks about the explosion of the East Anglia Climategate e-mails in America. The reaction is growing exponentially there. Joe Public, coast-to-coast, now knows, thanks to the clowns at East Anglia’s CRU, just how royally he has been screwed.

The term that Fox News is now applying to the Climategate e-mails is “game-changer”. For the first time, Anthropogenic Global Warming cranks are on the defensive, losing their cool and uttering desperate mantras such as “You can be sceptical, not in denial.” Gee, thanks, guys. In fact we shall be whatever we want to be, without asking your permission.

At this rate, Copenhagen is going to turn into a comedy convention with the real world laughing at these liars. Now is the time to mount massive resistance to the petty tyrants and hit them where it hurts – in the wallet. Further down the line there may be, in many countries, a question of criminal prosecution of anybody who has falsified data to secure funds and impose potentially disastrous fiscal restraints on the world in deference to a massive hoax. It’s a new world out there, Al, and, as you may have noticed, the climate is very cold indeed.

One can only HOPE it scuttles the Cap N Trade.

AGW “man caused” warming is a farce.

Mann's “hockey stick” models couldn't account for the Medieval Warming Period (800 to 1300AD) nor the Maunder Minimum, the "Little Ice Age” which followed.(Ranging from 1350 to 1860AD, actually 3 events during that time period.)

He was widely criticized for his models not reflecting the MWP. Well, Mann just declared the MWP and the LIA as “hemispheric anomalies”, that’s all.(poof!) Don't like the data? Declare it an "anomaly."

Why? The MWP, which happened 400 YEARS PRIOR to man’s first use of coal, in the late 18th century, couldn’t be explained.

And how did he justify claiming the MWP and the LIA was only a “hemispheric” anomaly? He used 358 boreholes to declare them only regional. Only 358, in order to dismiss major environmental events of history.

Mann’s problem? 6,000 boreholes from all over the world proves he’s wrong, that it was not a "regional" occurrence. Other scientists proved that Mann’s assertion for leaving out a massive climate shifts was incorrect. Paleo-climatologists pointed out, just because Mann wants to ignore the data, doesn’t mean it isn’t out there. But they were ignored.

And why did he leave these out? Because it PROVED his model was not accurate. It could not account for a MWP prior man burning fossil fuels, nor could it explain the LIA, which also proved that the earth can cool, sans man’s influence.

For instance, the advance of the Vikings into Greenland during the MWP, and their subsequent die out as a result of the LIA.

We have ANCIENT POLAR FORESTS that exists prior to man's usage of fossil fuels. Unless of course, the AGW crowd can produce a cave painting of a neanderthal driving a Hummer, or produce a fossilized SUV from 250,000,000 years ago.

MIT then debunked his "hockey stick" modeling. They input random data points, in order to test the model, and what do you know, Mann's mathematical model STILL puked out the infamous "hockey stick." Mann's model couldn't even pass the most basic test, the "Monte Carlo" testing procedure.
To demonstrate this effect, McIntyre and McKitrick created some meaningless test data that had, on average, no trends. This method of generating random data is called Monte Carlo analysis, after the famous casino, and it is widely used in statistical analysis to test procedures. When McIntyre and McKitrick fed these random data into the Mann procedure, out popped a hockey stick shape!
http://www.technologyreview.com/Energy/13830/

Yes boys and girls. Mann's model that the IPCC relied on was completely debunked by one of our OWN most prestigious institutions. The MSM ignored our own scientists.

And yet, we still have ridiculous "AGW" people attempting to discredit scientists who point out that the data, the modeling, all of it was flawed, a fraud.

NOW, we even have EMAILS from those very scientists to PROVE they were providing fraudulent data to their peers. They attempted to have OTHER scientists smeared and ostracized.

What part of “fraud” don’t these AGW people understand? These cycles are not MAN MADE. We didn’t cause this.

The reason for their denial? If it turns out to be CYCLICAL, something we have no control over, then their FUNDING goes up in smoke. They have to go find another line of work. Their grants dry up, the sponsorships dry up, the government funding of everything, including cow farts dries up.

Follow the money....this was about nothing more than bilking nations out of billions and billions of dollars. Especially the US. So they created a fraud to scare everyone with.

And another thing.

I want the nations that suffered starvation because we pushed for BIO FUELS to sue the UN and these fraudulent scientists for REPARATIONS.

Grains became too expensive to purchase, because the price went up because of the demand for biofuels, as pushed by the UN.

And people in nations like Haiti and Indonesia, and Egypt, started starving and eating dirt "cookies" because they couldn't afford to eat.

I want these fraudulent scientists brought up in a world court for crimes against humanity, the starvation they caused, as a result of their fraud.

How didja like GORE getting run out of a book signing in Chicago?

Yep, all those people who were demanding he account for the fraud.

Gore slipped out the back door into a car being chased by people.

Not many in the media talking about THAT, huh?

They're only briefly mentioning his book signing, because if they report more in depth, they're gonna have to talk about him being chased out by protestors.

This was nothing but a global attempt at fraud.

Bilking billions from nations. GE stood to make billions on their NEWER technologies.

Billions funding new research, think tanks, defrauding nations.

If we treat people who try to scam seniors, who send letters "you're in danger of losing your house if you don't 'secure' your deed, which we'll do for $50.00"...why aren't we seeking criminal charges against these scientists?

Afterall, boil down what they tried to do? Nothing less than fraud, the intent to deceive.

Shouldn't they be facing criminal charges now?

I'd audit every single grant they've received. Give them a rectal exam on each project. Send a message to the scientific community, there are severe ramifications to fraud.

Strip them of their credentials, their chairs, their acreditations. Everything.

Demand they repay every nickel, and then, bring them up on charges for crimes against humanity, for all those people who starved because of the push for biofuels.

Send them a MONSTER message...no more. Never again.

And how do you like Obama, still going to pledge based on fraudulent data? He's not going to go there and demand accountability.

He's not gonna go there and chastise the international community for not doing research, for perpetrating a global fraud...

Noooooo, he's gonna go there and PLEDGE to act on fraudulent data.

What a guy, huh? I think Obama's intent PROVES that this was never ABOUT climate change. His own actions PROVE this was about a massive wealth redistribution, especially from the US.

What a POTUS, huh? Isn't he great? With his dishonesty, and his lack of integrity?

Hmmm?

Is this impeachable? Never mind, the international community NOW knows, anything he pledges? Never gonna happen here in the US...he's neutered. Nothing he says should be relied on. No one will honor any pledge he makes. On this, he is a POTUS in name only.

Oh, did you notice, given this is SO important, he's only gonna spend ONE DAY in copenhagen.

Gosh...wow.

Because, you see, he has to run to get his nobel PRIZE.

Yea...a prize. A trinket, that is all about Obama. We knew he was a narcissist.

But yea, it's REALLY important that obama run to get some little prize that's all about HIM, a little trophy for his shelf.

Some little trinket is more important to him than holding the international community accountable for their attempt to defraud the globe.

What a guy, huh?

Take the money out of the crisis and the crisis will go away.

At the very least congress should examine it's funding of climate change research and modify it drastically or eliminate it completely until we can get some straight answers from those who perpetuated this fraud.

Absolutely. Congress should open an investigation into the scientists who perpetrated a global fraud on us.

All funding STOPPED. Strip the "scientists" of their funding, and if they're found to have help perpetrate the fraud, cook the studies, you sieze their assets to repay the grants.

You charge them with fraud.

This has now become a criminal matter.

We would charge the criminals who sent letters to seniors and told them "you're in danger of losing your house if you don't 'secure' your deed, which we will do for a $50.00 fee."

These people are no different. Charge them with fraud, the "intent to deceive" is all you need to prove.

And what does that say about Obama?

He's still gonna push forward based on the fraudulent data.

What would we do if the guys kept sending out the letters to the seniors trying to scare them into paying 50.00 for a bogus claim?

And shouldn't Obama be informed he no longer has the authority to do that?

The UN already knows, this is a disaster. Obama's blathering will mean nothing. Our nation is outraged, it won't matter WHAT Obama blithers there, they'll never see ANYTHING from the US on this fraudulent stupidity....

Maybe that's why Obama is only spending a day there, so he can race off and get his little trinket, his nobel prize, for his shelf.

But of course, don't look for leadership from Obama on this. He won't hold the UN and the IPCC accountable for a global fraud...nawwwwwww...he's gonna run off and get his "Obama" prize.

What a POS of a POTUS...

Obama will probably be the last to hear that AGW has been exposed as a fraud and we wouldn't want to spoil his planned trip to Denmark, or would we?

He already released a stsatement when this whole thing broke.

He's gonna go AHEAD with it. Isn't he great?

doesn't CARE that AGW stupidity was exposed as a fraud.

So.. Obama's own actions tell you...this was never about the climate.

This was ALWAYS about taking from us, and giving money to others.

Period. Nothing more, nothing less. This was a fraud, cooked up, to take billions from the tax payers here, and give to other nations.

Isn't Obama great though?

If he DOES do this...watch for a very ugly backlash in the nation.

Did you know that 54% of ALL NEW YORKERS are OPPOSED to bringing the terrorists to NY for a civilian trial?

Oh man...watch for Obama to tank hard if he tries to push forward with ANY of this global warming stupidity.

He will become a POTUS in name only. Especially after next november.

Neutered. He's already been neutered in front of Copenhagen. There's no way the UN will ever see ANYTHING from the US on this fraudulent subject.

I hope Australia, the ONLY nation to speak out about this fraud before the emails proved it, I hope AUSTRALIA goes there and CASTIGATES the UN and the IPCC.

I hope they DEMAND any and all funds back that funded these frauds and their cooked books and fake models.

I want Haiti and Indonesia to demand reparations for all the people who starved because of the UN's push for BIOFUELS, based on these fraudulent numbers...

In other words, I want the world to SCREAM at the UN about its fraud, again, like under Kofi Annan, I want the UN shamed, and demand money BACK from those frauds.

Global fraud is all this was...plain and simple.

And any democrat that even SPEAKS about the Cap N Trade bill should be run out of dodge...

And remember I told you guys? The CRIMINALS were going to investigate THEMSELVES...oh right...

WELL...THEY DUMPED THE ORIGINAL DATA...

The CRU destroyed most of the original data they gathered, so they CAN'T provide the raw data to the rest of the community...

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environ...
SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.

It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.

The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building.
We CAN'T get the 'RAW' data from them now. The Scietific community NOW has to RECONSTRUCT every bit of data from the original collection sources.

Told you, we were NEVER going to be able to RELY ON THE CRIMINALS...to PROVIDE the EVIDENCE.

This group is DESPERATE not to be seen as the frauds they are...so they CAN'T produce the ORIGINAL RAW DATA for everyone else to look at...only their DOCTORED data...

Nice....

Just a few considerations in addition to previous remarks about the explosion of the East Anglia Climategate e-mails in America. The reaction is growing exponentially there. Fox News, Barack Obama’s Nemesis, is now on the case, trampling all over Al Gore’s organic vegetable patch and breaking the White House windows. It has extracted some of the juiciest quotes from the e-mails and displayed them on-screen, with commentaries. Joe Public, coast-to-coast, now knows, thanks to the clowns at East Anglia’s CRU, just how royally he has been screwed.

Senator James Inhofe’s Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works has written to all the relevant US Government agencies, acquainting them with the nature of the e-mails. But the real car crash for Obama is on Capitol Hill where it is now confidently believed his Cap and Trade climate legislation is toast. It was always problematic; but with a growing awakening to the scale of the scientific imposture sweeping the world, as far as the Antipodes, the clever money is on Cap and Trade laws failing to pass, with many legislators sceptical and the mid-term elections looming ever closer.

At the more domestic level, the proposed ban on incandescent light bulbs, so supinely accepted in this servile state of Britain, is now provoking a huge backlash in America. US citizens do not like the government coming into their houses and putting their lights out. Voters may not understand the cut and thrust of climate debate at the technical level, but they know when the Man from Washington has crossed their threshold uninvited.

The term that Fox News is now applying to the Climategate e-mails is “game-changer”. For the first time, Anthropogenic Global Warming cranks are on the defensive, losing their cool and uttering desperate mantras such as “You can be sceptical, not denial.” Gee, thanks, guys.

We need to cut government spending on alternate technology. Governments brought us ethanol mandates, an evil that burns food and starves the poor. We can help our economy if we had an energy policy that encourages the use and production of energy and fuel, but let's the market lead the way.

The deniers have given up on any attempt to debate the science (not that they were any good at it) and are attempting to undermine the scientists and the science itself (something they are good at, because it requires cherry-picking, lies, misrepresentation, mutually contradictory statements, ignorance, stupidity and an obsession with out of context detail while ignoring the big picture). This is a tactic which may have some short term success, but is doomed in the long term, as everybody notices that AGW is continuing, despite all the idiots who've declared it a hoax.

These are the death throes of denial; it's not the end of AGW, don't fool yourselves.
